Since the summer of 2016 I have been a full time mom of a Beautiful daughter who has been diagnosed with autism a few years after being born. Life has been such a learning curve and I am so blessed to have my daughter as she has taught me alot in life. How to slow down and she helped me overcome some of my anxieties I have been diagnosed with. Now she has a bother who she just adores. I did go through 1 misscariage that broke my heart and my husband 💔 I'm so greatful to my husband of almost 12 years for providing for the kids and I. So I'm able to help our daughter who needs our upmost attention. Her brother definitely keeps us all busy 😅. I recently closed my own personal home based business of 4 years selling quality flase strip lashes. I still had that feeling of...what do I want to do with my life. I didn't want to go back to a 9-5 working for someone els dream. I was always wondering how do thoes people travel for a living? I wanted that but I couldn't figure out how? I got told by the people around me that only a few people would succeed working online, and that the rest of us would have to work a «normal» job. «That’s just what it’s like being an adult» (which I completely understand, because they didn’t have any knowledge about this opportunity). In the beginning, I believed that too. Until I started to talk to some of the people in the community I’m now a part of. They were nurses, hair dressers, car mechanics, teachers; just normal people like you and me. I heard their stories, and started to believe that they were no different than me - and I was right. The power of embracing the pivot: When I started to build a new direction for this affiliate brand so it could be fully operational again (after being hacked), I felt excited about forward momentum. SO excited. But then I was amazed by how quickly fear entered the room… 👀 There was doubt, stress, confusion, & a ‘why me’ attitude because the situation felt so out of my control. We are settling into life in Berrigan and will be here for a little bit 🌞 The main street is only a short walk away …as are the pubs and sports club 😋🫣🤩 There's an IGA, pharmacy, bakery and a butcher recently opened their doors too for all the necessities + a café 👏 The op shop and bookshop are great for a wander and I have a few other little shops in town to still to check out... 3 reasons I prefer to work from WiFi ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 1. I can work from literally anywhere/anytime. I choose my own hours which means I determine when is best for me & what works best for my family. Sometimes that looks like moments spread out over the day in between being IN my life or it could be either a few hours in the morning or night. I don’t need a lap top & I don’t need to clock on/off or report to anyone! 2. My income is uncapped. Gone are the days of working 38+ hours a week to earn a base salary without overtime or paid lunch breaks. The last sale I made in my business is equivalent to 272 hours of work in my previous job. There’s not much more to say - it’s a no brainer. 3. Personal Branding/choice My business is an extension of me which means I choose it ALL. There is no ‘you have to post this’ or cold messaging/hard sell required to make a significant income online. I create content from my everyday life & share my message/what’s on my heart. It feels good, it’s in integrity with my values & is an act of service to those who resonate & are also seeking a solution. ✈️🌍There are many more reasons why working from WiFi trumps anything else I’ve ever done like location freedom, taking holidays & travelling for business. Due to automation funnels and sales systems, my biz never actually stops. This is why I can take time out to have a baby with full trust knowing my business will continue operating. OH HEY GUESS WHAT? You do NOT need to “find” your voice. You already HAVE a voice. What you need is to figure out how, where, and when to use it. Telling you that you don’t have a voice of your own is aggressively unhelpful: it’s one more way to feel like a discount Boring Bertie who nobody’s gonna read. And it ignores the real problem: building the confidence to use your beautiful voice out loud. We do that step by tiny beetle step — writing little and often, letting go of the fear that what you write won’t be perfect (it never will be and that’s okay!), and embracing the idea that writing can be fun. You have a great voice. You just need to start using it — to write like you mean it, and make magic happen. Yes there are painted smiles with toxic behaviour behind them. Yes there is talk of "integrity" without the action to follow it up. Yes this space is plagued with entitlement that makes us question ourselves. Yes there are cliques meeting in messenger/whatsapp/whatever to whinge and moan. Yes there is a ton of toxic crap in this space. But, you have a choice. To be part of it, or not. To be scared of it, or not. To create boundaries that do not tolerate any of the above [even if you've been involved in them before]. The company will encourage you to splurge on gifts, vacations and anything else they believe you will want. It will also give you a credit card limit that will help you to go into debt. Unless you have the willpower to resist all its advertising, the company will get exactly what it wants.On the other hand Credit cards will bait and switch.When you receive that pre-approved 0% fixed-rate credit card application in the mail, you assume that when you fill out all the information, you will receive a 0% fixed-rate credit card. What may very well happen is that you will receive an alternative card that has a higher interest rate.
