I’m breaking through something big right now. 💫 A new glass ceiling smashing in my embodiment and embracing of my full spectrum self. 🌈 Side note:: I don’t know if y’all have noticed, but my social media does not have consistent branding or theme colors. This is related haha As I activate more life force shakti inside of me, life has started moving a lot faster. When I used to think I needed to live in a portal like Lake Atitlán to experience rapid transformation, now that speed follows me everywhere I go. It’s called the “quickening”. It’s the space of miracles. But it requires you saying yes to it. In the expanding of your heart, in the feeling ALL of your feelings, in the fullest expression of your body’s movement and aliveness. It has opened up grace upon grace and blessing upon blessing on me these last few months. The fullness of the feminine in her many different aspects have been awakening inside of me. But this full expression is NOT welcomed by everyone! And ooooof this is one of the more difficult lessons for me. I had gotten really used to being someone that everyone loves. But I wasn’t fully me in all my beauty and my vulnerabilities. 💗 One thing I said recently in a women’s circle in Joshua Tree was - I’m learning to be like the hummingbird, seeking the flowers with nectar. As a hummingbird, I’m not going to go seek nectar from a rock. I’m going to find the sweetest flowers to nourish me. And like the Rose, I will stand tall if I am nourished by lots of water and nutrient-rich soil. Then I can blossom into my beauty and radiance. The inner dance of feminine and masculine. This upcoming Wednesday, I have the wonderful opportunity to dance on stage with the bird queen herself, @deyadova 🦅 ✨ I first saw her live at Envision Festival in 2019 and if someone told me I’d be on stage with her now.. I would’ve never believed it. It feels like a dream 🌀 Quick story time 📖 🪶 Birds and their feathers have always seemed to herald important messages for me. I always saw them as my angel’s business cards and how they would place them in the perfect place for me to find at the perfect time so that I would be reminded that I’m not alone, and that I could always reach out for support and guidance. I’ve never found a feather and not pick it up even when my dad would tell me “that’s yucky, go wash your hands!”. I’ve never seen a hawk fly over me and screech and think it wasn’t related to whatever was on my mind and heart in that moment. And for my 28th birthday, we found this dead hawk on the side of the road(last photo) and brought it with us on a journey to a place in Moab for a ceremony of life and appreciation. I’ve always felt connected to birds especially being pretty light and airy myself! I’ve been told my spirit animal is a hummingbird and I’ve had 2 hummingbirds literally fly into me while they were making love during my meditation (scared the hell out of me!). And now to be circling back around and dancing with my bird tribe to music that has given me ego shattering experiences is such a great honor to receive. About 3 months later the most incredible thing happened. I was introducing myself as SpiritBird not just in secret spiritual communities, but everywhere. I was at a group gathering for the weekend and met this lovely woman. We chatted a little but I didn't think much of it. The next day she found me in the morning and said, "I have something I want to share with you, but not right now because I'm gonna cry." Okay, I don't know what she's gonna share. We'll see I guess. Later when the time was right, in the middle of a workshop, she opened up and shared her story. She had the loss of a child many years ago. In the years of grieving, processing, and healing she was meditated one day. During the meditation she got this message that someday your daughter's spirit will return to you like a SpiritBird, and you'll know everything is okay. 😱🥺 And here I was, awkwardly going through this inner struggle with sharing my name. I was worried what people would think, how they would perceive it. Making it out to be way more than it was. Yet in the moment of following spirit and introducing myself in this way, the medicine was delivered. This woman received peace finally understanding what the message meant, and also confirmation that everything was okay. I received the medicine that it's not about you. Like at all. When I introduce myself now, by my proper name, often people smile, many even lean in and whisper their spiritual name back to me. It just scratches the surface of what spiritual gifts are all about. And teaches once again, just to let it all flow through you.

Several nights ago our Bald Eagle relative came to me in my dream. 🦅 My interpretation and understanding from her visit was that if I allow others to take up space in my mind and my life who aren't serving a positive purpose, I am giving away my freedom, my sovereignty, my independence, my individuality, my power, and my peace. If I do this, I am losing sight of the greater picture ~ as the eagle is the all seeing eye. She is the bird who can reach the highest height of all the birds. She sees the greater picture. Allowing the problems of others' lives to infiltrate and take up space in our minds, means we may be focusing too much on the fine details. While it is all connected, it is all important, and it all makes up the greater picture of life, it is important to also, see everything as a whole, to recognize that there is much more to see and that there is an abundance of beauty. You know when you get to a stage in life and it is not at all how you imagined? I recently had a private healing ceremony with someone in a challenging phase of life. In the midst of legal matters, a significant breakup, and uncertainty, she was grappling with feelings of insecurity, hurt, and the unexpected changes life had thrown at her. She felt lost, disconnected, and drowning in grief. In her introspection, she saw recurring patterns in her relationships, both romantically and professionally. She arrived at our session ready to break this cycle, eager to move forward and make a change. Working with someone so prepared and open is incredibly rewarding. Their willingness to listen, learn, and release what no longer serves them is the perfect starting point for healing. During the ceremony I found myself moving around the room, waving my hand spontaneously. When I noticed her observing my movements, I proclaimed, "I'm not doing some mystical shit; my hand just wants to move." This work embodies both the mystical and the ordinary. In those moments, I AM attuned to various energies coursing through me, tapped into multiple dimensions, speaking with spirits who are shaping my actions and interactions, yet at the same time, I'm just moving my hand. Maintaining this perspective helps ground me and alleviates the pressure of seeming overly mystical or serious. It allows flexibility in how I approach spiritual practices. Traditional shamanic teachings often emphasize the shaman's experience rather than the client's. Practices involve reading energy, engaging in physical actions to remove blocks, or embodying guides through symbolic gestures or sounds. While these are potent techniques that I employed in the early years of my practice, I've learned the importance of considering the client's context. It's not about performing a mystical show but about meeting the client where they are in their healing journey. ✨ It's about connecting.
