第36回御前崎ビーチクリーンナップ活動報告です。2024年5月19(日)8:30-9:30に御前埼灯台下海岸で開催しました。 パラパラ時々雨が降る中でのゴミ回収作業となりましたが、大雨とはならずに済みセーフでした。 最初に集合して、副会長(海ガメ監視員と4月から御前崎市議会議員)の福田伸次から、本日今日浜岡地区で海ガメの上陸があったものの産卵には至らなかったお話をして頂きました。障害物やゴミがあったら海ガメは引き返す事が多いとのお話を聞き、改めて綺麗な海岸を目指そう、と思いました。 お天気がかなり怪しい中、朝からお集まり頂いた参加者の皆様本当にありがとうございました。 御前崎市内はもとより島田市、吉田町、牧之原市、掛川市、菊川市などからもご参加頂きました。 御前埼灯台下は観光客が1番訪れる場所です。パッとみた時は、日常的にゴミがを拾って下さってる方々がいらっしゃる為か、ゴミがそんなに見えなかったのですが、海岸に降りてみたら、両側にペットボトルなどのゴミが大量に漂着していました。また細々したゴミも至る所にありました。 大きな浮きや産廃ゴミは階段の横に日常ゴミ拾いされている方が寄せておいて下さってありました。 みんなで力を合わせて漂着ゴミを回収して、観光客が訪れる海岸がとっても綺麗になりました。 皆さま雨の中ありがとうございました。 #omaezakibeachcleanup #omaezaki #御前崎 #海岸清掃 #ビーチクリーン #beachcleanup #海洋プラスチック問題 #ゴミ拾い #SDGs #漂着物 #umigomi #海ごみゼロ #御前崎ビーチクリーン #美しく豊かな静岡の海を未来につなぐ会 #御前崎港ポートサポーター #microplastics #サーフィン #釣り #御前崎灯台 #御前崎マリンパーク #浜岡砂丘 #下岬海岸 #海がめ #beach #yellstation #御前崎市商工会 #御前崎市観光協会 #海がめ監視員
So great returning to Collège Français de Tel-Aviv Marc Chagall and learn about plastic pollution with the amazing 1st and 4th graders! Last Thursday we had a super special cleanup day as part of a series of sessions on plastic pollution from theory in the classroom to cleaning up outside and a waste survey that they are going to do this week! 40 students came and also some parents who really wanted to join an beach cleanup, and together we collected 75 kg from the Yarkon estuary in Tel Aviv! Of course like all our cleanups, reusable gloves and reused bags from Naked Market and Cafe Tamati, teaching the kids to think creatively how to create less lastic plastic waste in their daily activities. 2024/5/18(土) 第25回ビーチクリーン活動報告 夏のような日差しとなった5/18（土）の午前中、千葉市美浜区豊砂（幕張豊砂）の海岸で、ビーチクリーン活動を実施しました。 今回も、マイクロプラスチック対応活動を含めて実施し、総勢46名の方にお集まりいただいての活動となりました。 ご参加いただいた皆さま、お疲れ様でした。 【活動結果】 可燃ゴミ：45L x 9 不燃ゴミ：20L x 3 PETボトル：45L x 3 （特記事項：漂着ライター x 100本、注射器 x 5本、その他大きなプラパレットやスーパーの買い物カゴなど粗大ゴミいろいろ） スコップとフルイを用いて沢山の海洋プラスチック（マイクロプラスチックの素）を発掘いただき、またトングを用いて多くの漂着ゴミを回収いただき、ありがとうございました。 今回も漂着ライターが100本（前月は128本）回収され、２カ月連続して３桁の本数が回収されました。 ライターの形や状態を見る限り、新たに漂着したものと言うより何年（何十年）にも渡り漂着・堆積していたものが、毎回の清掃作業により発掘・回収されているものと思われます。 一昨年・昨年と、それぞれ400本前後の漂着ライターを回収しているため、今年の回収分を含めると1,000本を超えるライターがこの浜辺から出てきた事になります。 また、今回は日本成型産業（株）の山本様に、この浜辺に大量に散らばっているペレットの新品（ヴァージンペレット）を持参いただき、少し「レジンペレット」についての説明をしてもらいました。ありがとうございました。 次回、この浜辺でのビーチクリーンは翌月6/15（土）となります。 まだまだ堆積している漂着ゴミが大量にあり、海ゴミ拾い放題の浜辺ですので、また多くの方々のご参加をお待ちしております。 #千葉市 #美浜区 #海浜幕張 #豊砂 #幕張豊砂 #幕張の浜 #幕張海浜公園gブロック #海ゴミ #海洋ゴミ #漂着ゴミ #漂着ライター #プラスチックゴミ #マイクロプラスチック #清掃活動 #清掃ボランティア #ビーチクリーン #beachcleanup #plasticdebris #microplastics #sdgs #まるごみ #豊砂ビーチワークス #ちばボランティアナビ #ちばボラナビ

Just hanging out in Ensenada with friends cleaning a beach today. 1514 lbs of trash picked up! Sooooo awesome. I made a bunch of new friends, we set a new single event record for trash picked up for @theproject3r and I had a great time today. DAY 11 - Part 1 Point Halswell Lighthouse to Mahanga Bay - 1.43km . Today’s clean was split into two parts as I had to go back and catch the section I missed last time. A lot of time walking the road since a good portion of this stretch has a seawall. But don’t let that trick you into thinking there wasn’t rubbish to be found! The mowers had been through this part already so there was chopped up litter all over the place again and it was another day of picking up a ridiculous amount of crap left behind from people fishing. . Where the sea wall dissipated, every little nook and cranny (AKA coastal shrub) was littered with single use drink containers. An obscene amount of recycling was collected separately to be added to my personal recycling this week. I had to do a little rock climbing to rescue a stray gum boot that somehow managed to escape its owner as well as to rescue a few mismatched shoes that washed up on a miniature beach without access. Thankfully there was a decent rock wall to climb up after jumping down! The little beach I cleaned a few days ago was a hot mess again so I gave it some love while I was there (clearly this beach could use some frequent attention). . On www.churchofgoodluck.com they say «The Gobbo is an interesting fellow. He is an Italian hunchback who is considered to be Good Luck. While bodily deformities have historically not been considered to be lucky – in fact quite the opposite – the well-dressed Gobbo is an exception. In 19th century England, to rub the hump of a Gobbo was considered to be a way to gain good luck at the gambling tables in Monte Carlo. Perhaps this connection with posh casinos explains why he is often depicted in top hat and tuxedo, sporting a monocle. What an AWESOME turnout for our monthly Beach Cleanup sponsored by John Dorys!!🌎💙 We had over 60 volunteers join us on Milnerton Lagoon Beach this morning! We had staff from John Dory's, including Navin and Donovan, we had Interact Club Members from Curro Durbanville, eco club members from Parklands College, Milnerton Lions Club members, Rotary Club of Blouberg members, residents, regular volunteers like Uta, Michelle & Yvonne, Garyn and Marc from The Shred Indoor Skatepark! And always lovely to see some new faces and who's names I'll soon learn! 😁 Together we picked up an incredible 390 kilograms!!! 😲 It was bad again. The City of Cape Town were there busy cleaning again and despite them having just cleaned we STILL managed to pick up 390kg!! That's how bad it was!! Not because they did a bad job, but because there is just SO MUCH! 😭 HUGE thanks to John Dory's for not only sponsoring this cleanup and supporting us, and donating meal vouchers for 10 lucky volunteers, but for going above and beyond and organizing for learners present from both schools to go for a free meal at their local John Dory’s restaurant!💙 Huge shout out to Plastics|SA for our super strong yellow refuse bags!! Mom and I headed to Milnerton Lagoon Beach Thursday afternoon between meetings to do a beach cleanup. As was reported in recent FB posts, the beach was awful! Litter strewn along the entire beach...and this despite the city having coming and done a cleanup (pile of blue bags as evidence)! Some well needed vitamin sea today at Aberthaw Beach. I was pleased with my treasure finds and 8 smartie lids, one of which had goal written on it. I filled the red bag with just plastic bottles and cans. The tub I filled with bottle tops and the shopping bag with fishing rope/line, 2 sanitary applicators, 6 lighters, 2 combs, socks, pants, mask, syringe, balloon, 2 gloves and lots of random plastic. The cord snapped yet again on my foldable picker but luckily I had spare cord. On the way back I found stuff by the grass so put that with my bag.
