So great returning to Collège Français de Tel-Aviv Marc Chagall and learn about plastic pollution with the amazing 1st and 4th graders! Last Thursday we had a super special cleanup day as part of a series of sessions on plastic pollution from theory in the classroom to cleaning up outside and a waste survey that they are going to do this week! 40 students came and also some parents who really wanted to join an beach cleanup, and together we collected 75 kg from the Yarkon estuary in Tel Aviv! Of course like all our cleanups, reusable gloves and reused bags from Naked Market and Cafe Tamati, teaching the kids to think creatively how to create less lastic plastic waste in their daily activities.
