Sequestrated antigens - The eye is an immune privileged organ .. - The eye has immune privileged tissues as cornea, lens, and retinal pigment epithelium. It also has immune privileged sites as the anterior chamber, vitreous cavity and subretinal space. - This feature promotes sequestration of antigens in those tissues. The immune privilege enables transplanted tissue to survive for a long time unlike other tissues of the body. #Arab_Eye_Academy #ophthalmology #eyedoctor #eye_secret #ophthalmologist #sequestrated #antigens

Spring has sprung! But for many of us, the season also brings the unwelcome arrival of 🤧 allergy woes. Sneezes, itchy eyes, and that perpetual runny nose – it's enough to make anyone grumpy. But before you reach for the antihistamines (we'll get to those later!), let's talk about your body's unsung hero in the fight against allergies: the lymphatic system. 𝗟𝗬𝗠𝗣𝗛-𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: When you encounter an allergen (pollen, dust mites, etc.), your immune system goes into overdrive. Histamine, a chemical released by immune cells, is a key player in this response. Histamine helps fight off the perceived threat, but it also triggers those classic allergy symptoms: inflammation, runny nose, itchy eyes – basically, your body's way of trying to expel the "invader". Now, picture your lymph nodes as little apartment buildings for immune cells – including those histamine-producing ones. When your lymphatic system is flowing smoothly, these immune cells can efficiently do their job and then get evicted (recycled) by the lymph system. But when the lymph flow gets backed up, those histamine-producing immune cells become grumpy tenants who overstay their welcome. This leads to a histamine overload, and bingo! Allergy symptoms intensify. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗵 = 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗰 Research suggests a link b/w dysfunctional lymph drainage & chronic inflammatory conditions, including allergies & that lymph massage/drainage effectively reduce allergy symptoms by promoting the clearance of allergens from the body. Additionally, studies have shown that improved lymphatic flow can lead to decreased inflammation + better regulation of histamine levels.  Ways to keep your lymph flowing & allergies at bay:  💃Move it or lose it!: Walk, dance, or hop on a rebounder for at least 20-30 minutes a day.  ⚡Vibe it Up with the Flowvibe: The easiest way to give your lymph love (link in bio) 👐Manual Lymph Drainage: Get the FREE guide using the link in our bio  💧Hydrate! 📢 Gut Bacteria: The Hidden Culprits Behind Autoimmune Kidney Diseases? 📢 Gut bacteria may be responsible for triggering autoimmune diseases in the kidneys by leaking antigens that activate the immune system. The gut microbiome has a significant impact on the immune system throughout the body. Researchers found that patients with IgA nephropathy had an imbalance in gut bacteria that led to the development of the disease. This study highlights a previously unknown mechanism of autoimmune diseases. 🦠💉 #BioprocessUpdates #GutBacteria #Autoimmunity #KidneyDisease #IgANephropathy #ImmuneSystem #Microbiome #Antigens #AutoimmuneDiseases #GutHealth #Research #HealthScience #Imbalance #DiseaseDevelopment #UnknownMechanism #ScientificDiscoveries ▷ Full article in our description and here: 📎 https://bioprocessupdates.com/process-development/gut-bacteria-the-hidden-culprits-behind-autoimmune-kidney-diseases/

Shared from Rae Blaylark sending live and prayers. Today Trey received FOURTEEN (14) units of blood. ‼️We had to stop TWICE to address transfusion reactions. 🩸That's 7-14 unique individuals who "most closely" match my son's blood type AND blood antigens. 🩸When I tell y'all WE NEED MORE BLACK DONORS, this is why! 🩸No, blood does not know color, HOWEVER, the more often you've had to receive blood, the closer the match needs to be (so you don't have a deadly transfusion reaction). 🩸Matching for blood goes beyond #bloodtype for those with #SickleCellDisease (or other chronic conditions requiring blood transfusions). 🩸For conditions that require lifelong or frequent blood transfusions, they also have to closely match for #antigens, which are BEST MATCHED within the same ethnic groups. #donateblood #savelives

The ABO blood group system is one of the most well-known and widely studied blood type systems in humans. Discovered by Austrian scientist Karl Landsteiner in 1900, this system categorises blood into four main types: A, B, AB, and O, based on the presence or absence of specific antigens on the surface of red blood cells. You may say we specialize in cleaning up the gut. Why are we so good at it? (1) We assume you have all imbalances and then try to help them all. The truth is that they all frequently overlap. Hint: Candida overgrowth and parasites can go hand in hand. It is best to assume that even parasite issues need to be cleaned out too. (2) We take an aggressive breakdown/soak-up approach to pathogen overgrowth. (3) We assume pathogens have "permeated" into the rest of the body. Hint: Please rinse the Nano Ag4O4 product for 10 to 20 seconds before swallowing. Nano AG4O4 may absorb into the rest of the body. You may find this very helpful for cleaning out candida that has entered the rest of your system.* You are all different. Therefore, your imbalances are all different. We find that Nano AG4O4 is an effective ingredient for pulling apart pathogen build-up, it exits the body quickly and is safe. This may be very helpful for those with biofilm concerns. We find that a concentration of immunoglobulins/antibodies when consumed orally is great at soaking up antigens/toxins like candida. We find that they may also help soak up mycotoxins and mold. We find that when the products that contain these two ingredients are combined in the right doses over the right amount of time, it may provide a thorough cleanup process. Next, it is tough to clean up a system that is clogged up. When a person has constipation, reflux, heartburn, slow gastric emptying, and any other signs of slow motility, we strongly encourage them to open detox pathways and unclog the system before an aggressive cleanup. There are many reasons for this if you would like to ask us. For a thorough cleanup process, DM us #Cleanup. After the Cleanup please consider the Buildup protocol. If you have slow motility issues, please consider the #SlowMotility+ Protocol before doing a cleanup in step 2. If you have candida-specific concerns and want one-on-one help, please DM us #Anna. #silverfernbrand #guthealth #cleanup #detox #parasites #pathogens #candida #immunoglobulins #toxins #antigens #gutcleanup

ELISA reagents are widely used as a method of quantifying antibodies against bacteria, viruses, as well as other material antigens. In the face of regional epidemics and global pandemics, ELISA is being increasingly used to aid in the detection of antigen (infectious agent) or antibody. This is largely due to the general sensitivity and simplicity of ELISA’s overall. This makes it a useful tool in the detection of various antigens and antibodies, such as hormones, viruses, and other toxins. #Biosystems #ELISA #qualitative #quantitative #proteinAnalysis #cellcluture #supernatants #urine #bacteria #viruses #detection #antibody #antigens #readytouse #stableliquid #immunpfluorescence Contact Us: 📞 (033) 333 1447 | (033) 503 2337 ✉ [email protected] Visit Us: 🌐 www.biospectra.com.ph IG: instagram.com/biospectramarketing/

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨? Antibodies, also known as immunoglobulins, are Y-shaped proteins that are produced by the immune system to help stop intruders from harming the body. When an intruder enters the body, the immune system springs into action. These invaders, which are called antigens, can be viruses, bacteria, or other chemicals. When an antigen is found in the body, the immune system will create antibodies to mark the antigen for the body to destroy. ✅Take ALPHA LIPID LIFELINE COLOSTRUM: From NEW ZEALAND to the WORLD! #newimagenigeria #antibodies #antigens #immunity #fyp #explorehealth #healthcare #preventivehealth #supplement

It’s not your fault that you can’t always identify what’s going to make you ill. The culprits might be the very foreign sounding issues of molecular mimicry and cross reactivity. And once you are aware of this it becomes easier to understand, and forgive yourself these slip ups. You can plan to alter your eating habits for the better. But what does molecular mimicry mean? When your immune system detects an invader, it’s quick to react to the virus, bacteria, organism, or allergen. Your white blood cells leap into action, the neutrophils responding quickly and attacking the invader directly, while specific lymphocytes split into T-cells and B-cells. T-cells can be memory T-cells, that hold the antigen (IgE) of a previous infection, or naive T-cells, which can respond to new threats. Lastly, Regulatory T (reg) cells police your immune response. B-cells secrete antibodies which attach to the invading cell – marking it for destruction like a tree that needs to be chopped down. Other immune cells carry out the order. Some of these B-cells become memory B-cells, which remember the infection and can protect against a future attack from that specific antigen. Because your T-cells are clever, they also read similar protein segments as a threat. Often these segments belong to otherwise benign food or substances. But this way your immune system can identify your own body tissues as a threat, causing autoimmunity and damage to the self. This is what’s known as molecular mimicry, and it can cause further complications to your health. More information available in Functional Medicine Blogs. “Will you B my Valentine?” - An early Valentine’s Day card, since I was thinking about the immune system recently 😂 B-cells are an important part of your immune system. They are part of your body’s defense against invaders such as harmful pathogens (viruses, bacteria and parasites). B-cells protect you from infection by making proteins called antibodies. When your immune system detects invaders, your B-cells produce antibodies to fight the invader. There are two main types of B-cells: plasma cells and memory cells. When a B-cell interacts with an invading pathogen, it can develop into either one of these two types of cells. Both types protect you from infection and disease. Plasma cells: Plasma cells release antibodies in response to invaders. Once a B-cell becomes a plasma cell, it can release up to 2,000 antibodies per second. Plasma cells that are made during an immediate response to an invader are short-lived. They generally have a shorter lifespan (on the order of 3-5 days) compared to memory cells . Memory cells: Memory cells remember specific invaders so that if they enter your body in the future, your immune system can mount a defense quickly. The lifespan of a memory cell can be decades. While plasma cells fight invaders by producing antibodies, memory cells help your immune system fight in the future. For example, vaccines work because they expose your immune system to small amounts of a pathogen that your memory cells remember. If an invading pathogen appears in the future, your body can mount an attack quickly. #science #sciencepuns #sciencecards #womeninstem #stemeducation #stem #biology #nerdycards #scicomm #sciencecommunication #bcells #plasma #blood #immunology #immunesystem #pathogens #memorycells #antibodies #vaccines #Blymphocytes #whitebloodcells #antigens #innateimmunity #adaptiveimmunity #smalllymphocytes #immuneresponse #infectiousdisease #defense #valentines

When it comes to Blood, finding the right match matters. Keeping the notions of Equality aside, not all blood groups are alike. Presence or absence of antigens makes a huge difference. If a patient needs blood transfusion, blood typing and cross matching is required. It is done to ensure that the patient's immune system does not attach the transfused blood. | CUVAS Blood Donor Society| . . #TypesofBlood #BloodTransfussion #Antigens #DonateBlood #SaveLife #SaveHuminity #CUVAS_Blood_Dobor_Society #Bahawalpur #Pakistan
