Heureusement, on est plusieurs jour après jour, à faire le choix de prendre ces chiens délaissés, maltraités et avec un lourd passé afin de leur offrir la meilleure vie de chien possible 🤍 C’est en juillet 2022, que je l’ai aperçu avec cette photo précisément😍 Un coup de foudre 💘 et dieu sait que je ne cherchais pas à avoir un 2e labrador ! Mon éleveur l’avait repris neuf mois auparavant et il était très très très mal en point 🥲 ⛔️Peur d’être approché par les humains ⛔️Médicamenté pour un trouble qui n’était pas à lui ⛔️Sous-alimenté & nourrit avec une mauvaise nourriture et j’en passe ‼️ Ça lui aura pris 9 mois à le remettre sur pied, prêt pour une nouvelle famille🥹 mais en août 2022, il allait retrouver sa nouvelle famille 🙌🏻 Un bon défi pour moi et il restait du travail à faire mais je savais qu’on allait être sa famille pour la vie❤️ J’ai travaillé avec un éducateur canin et j’ai utilisé mes huiles essentielles pour le supporter émotionnellement et calmer son anxiété 🫶🏻 De belles réussites et améliorations et THANK GOD que j’avais ces petites bouteilles d’huiles essentielles magiques pour travailler avec lui 💕 Aujourd’hui, il est presque parfait 😜 et on l’aime d’amour ce beau bb blanc 🥹 On se souhaite plusieurs années de bonheur ensemble mon bel ours polaire LUV U Jasperidou 🥰🤍🐾 #adoptarescue #rescuedog #jasperlechienblanc #labsofinstagram #rescuedogsofinstagram

Camille's Update 💖 Camille was involved in a RTA last November, she was only 8 weeks old 😢 Her owners could not afford the surgery which was estimated at approx. €2500 and the vets rang us to see if we could take her on. We do not take surrenders but we could not let a dog untreated either. Luckily we found a foster home, thanks to Wendy Sheeran & Neil. Camille was seen by an Orthopedic Vet specialist in Cork, Jerry's advice was as she was so young we should try first with crate rest for 6 weeks and see if her leg would heal by itself, otherwise she would need an operation and 3 months of crate rest. We went with the advice and low and behold Camille's leg healed perfectly during the crate rest, you would not know she had any fractures. Camille did get a home in February but 48 hours later she was returned, the children were afraid of her and she was not fully housetrained, we will say no more about that. A few weeks ago a lady called Trish contacted us about one of the lurcher puppies but after chatting to her we felt they were a bit too young and bouncy/bitey. Camille sounded like she would be perfect, still young at 6 months, puppy stage nearly gone and could still grow up with the children. Trish & family travelled from Meath and arranged an over night stay in Cork to meet Camille a couple of times. The first meeting was enough they were hooked on her and more importantly Camille liked this family. Camille headed back to Meath (her first trial was also Meath, how spooky is that) happily jumped in the back seat and did not look back at any of us 😂 We are so over the moon to be told Camille is staying forever in Meath, the family love her and she is exactly the kind of dog they were looking for, finally a happy ever after for Camille that she truly deserves🥳 #adoptarescue #adoptdontshop #rescuedogsarethebestdogs #rescuedogsrule #rescuedog #hartnorthcork

She loves to do fun agility, and ‘find it’ – scent games. She sometimes likes to play with toys and have a game of chase with you. 🐾 She likes to go for rural, quiet, peaceful walks. She has been doing well with making new doggie pals, and she has a few dogs that join her out and about on walks, and some off-lead playmates too. Any new doggie pals would need to be tolerant of her initial boisterous greeting. She has been doing well with her training and she will need her adopters to carry on helping her with this. 💛 Polly is looking for a home. As a young kitten, Crash earned his name due to his exuberant nature. He would gleefully chase after jinglebell balls or dash around, sometimes bumping into things out of sheer excitement! Buddy is a 1-year-old Collie x on the hunt for his forever family. He wasn’t in the best shape when he arrived in his foster home but it’s been 4 months now and he settled in very well. Due to an old fracture that healed wrong he needs a balanced amount of exercise with the right weight. Buddy gets a few walks a day rather than 2 big which suits him very well. He isn’t on any medication or pain relief and is enjoying his second chance in life. He is getting better on the lead and gained some much needed confidence. No cats and poultry for Buddy but he gets along well with other dogs. He is living with kids and likes being pet by them. Buddy’s life really turned around and he is doing so much better already. Just a few weeks ago, we took in Enya and her nine puppies. They were all on the euthanasia list at a municipal shelter. Enya was skin and bones when she came to us, as you can see in the second photo. We x-rayed Enya in preparation for her spay surgery. Her emaciated body was not only trying to provide nutrition to her puppies, but we learned she was dealing with the trauma of being shot at some point. The x-rays showed seven pellets were still inside her body. She was also suffering with a broken tooth. The vet’s opinion is to leave the pellets alone, and she received treatment for her tooth. In the last month, Enya’s pups have been weaned, and seven of the nine puppies have found their forever homes. Enya has since put on some much needed weight!
