Besides doing the school run for the kids that are at school, I have been stuck inside the same four walls for the last 5 days. I miss Gym. Gym is my sanity saver. My escape. My me time. I have not set foot there since last Friday. I haven’t seen other adults since Friday (unless you count the kids Dad and a couple of brief work calls - and I definitely do not count it 😆) This mama is hanging onto sanity by grabbing intermittent moments to myself as and when I can (and that is very few). By sipping on CBD drinks and taking calming breaths as and when I need to. On the plus side, the weather has been good and I’m almost caught up on the washing. In and amongst the hail, the wind, the thunder and lightning, I managed to capture these one sunny morning in my daughter's room. She loves blue, she loves stripes, she doesn't like anything stereotypically girly, which I love as she really knows her own mind and she sticks with it.
