・ 村上龍が監督した映画「トパーズ」を超久しぶりに見た。主演のアイを演じるのは村上龍が発掘した二階堂ミホ。 アイは派遣型SM風俗で働いている。そして客にホテルに呼ばれ身体を弄ばれる。客として加納典明、三上寛が出演。また当時、角川書店で編集をしていて龍さんと仲の良かった石原正康さんが客として変態プレイを好演（笑）石原さんは今は幻冬舎 取締役兼専務執行役員 編集・出版本部 本部長になっていて「トパーズ」出演は黒歴史だろうなぁ（笑） 映画の冒頭では作家・島田雅彦がミホを拘束してアリアを歌うシーンがあり当時話題になった。また草間彌生が占い師として怪演、いい味だしてる（笑）龍さんが発掘した天野小夜子も女王様として出演。天野小夜子好きなんだよな。龍さんの小説「エクスタシー」の表紙に天野小夜子の写真が使われてる。 映画の前半はセックス・ドラッグ・キューバンミュージックって感じ。当時、龍さんはキューバにハマっててキューバの音楽をよく聞いていたから、マイアミビーチルンバが映画の中でよく使われていた。まだ携帯電話があまり普及してない頃で映画の中では移動電話って言ってた。映画の後半は前半とはガラリと内容が変わる。オレは後半の展開は好きではない。 音楽協力として龍さんの盟友・坂本龍一がヴィバルディのドン・カルロをアレンジして演奏している。坂本龍一の音楽は素晴らしかった！ 映画・トパーズのDVDは1991年に発売されている。いまから33年前か。出演者もみんな若いはずだよ。 #トパーズ #映画トパーズ #村上龍 #ryumurakami #加納典明 #三上寛 #二階堂ミホ #天野小夜子 #石原正康 #島田雅彦 #草間彌生 #yayoikusama #坂本龍一 #ryuichisakamoto #フジヤマバロン #fujiyamabaron #tokyodecadence

I’m curious about one thing with this great release by @88_films : the back of the packaging lists the run time as 135 mins but this is not the run time of the movie on the bluray - it’s closer to 112 mins.
