In December 2023, we experienced the brutal cyclone michaung. Although the cyclone was just present for less than 24 hours, the aftermath was terrible. It took a week to recover as my residential society was surrounded by water and trapped as an island, it also broke the water pump underground, and taps didn't have running water for days. We were taken to the Kaza main market when we reached the coldest place Kaza 🤭🥶, and the shop closes as soon as the sun is set 😁 The place is famous for its carpets, pure wool shawls and woolen clothes. Readymade garments made of Merino wool and unique items like bedroom slippers made of grass have great demand.
