We got another person onto Dinogenics!! 🥰✨🦕 When @samjermy87 had his brother over to stay, they made the correct decision to set this up for our Sunday morning game ❤️🙌 honestly I was so excited when I came downstairs and saw it out on the table since what felt like forever!! Na wstępnie warto przypomnieć, że sama idea @pocztaplanszowkowa to jest materiał na pokojową nagrodę Nobla. Numero uno - #puertorico Miałem z tą grą kilka przygód za pośrednictwem #bga, ale osobiste dotykanie drewna i kartonu to zupełnie inne doznanie. Dokładne przeczytanie instrukcji to też znacznie poprawia jakość i doznania. No cóż, grając w dwie osoby gra nie miała okazji rozwinąć skrzydeł i zaprezentować wszystkich swoich walorów, nie widziałem za bardzo miejsca na brawurowe zagrania i przemyślane strategie. Akcje raczej same się podsuwały, nie było miejsca, żeby sprytnie wykorzystywać akcje tak, żeby samemu korzystać i szkodzić przeciwnikowi i wydaje mi się, że w partiach dwuosobowy ciężko jest to zrobić inaczej. Może kiedyś się nadarzy okazja, żeby zagrać w większym gronie (jak nie będzie żadnego ciekawszego tytułu do wyboru 😋) Numero due - #gleenmoore Ten tytuł z kolei mnie trochę sprowadził do parteru. To jest ten typ eurówek, w którym trzeba bardzo dokładnie zaplanować się przestrzennie. Najlepiej na całą partię, przed pierwszym ruchem, odczytując w szklanej kuli wszystkie niejawne informacje do końca gry. Bo jak coś nie pójdzie, to wszystko runie jak domek z kart. Przynajmniej tak to działa w moim przypadku w tej i innych tego typu gier o planowaniu przestrzenny (Klany Kaledonia, Projekt Gaja itp). W końcu rysunek techniczny powtarzałem na studiach ze 3 razy 😅 Warto dodać, że graliśmy wariant podstawowych, bez żadnej z chyba 8 dostępnych kronik - paczek z dodatkowymi mechanikami. Myślę, że jakby ta gra trafiła do mojej kolekcji na początku planszówkowej przygody, to zanim popadłem w kompulsywne zapełnianie regału nowymi grami, miałbym okazję wszystkie te kroniki we wszystkich konfiguracjach porządnie ograć. Hey hey! It's #twoplayertuesday #twosday🎲 #twosday and this week we have been playing FURNACE by @hobbyworldint @arcanewonders ❤️❤️ FURNACE at 2P has been an instant hit with us! Finger tingling, synapse sizzling awesomeness that struck mid way during the first game! 😍 The combination of having an auction game that works superbly at 2P (thanks to a mega easy dummy player which simply adds randomness into the bidding phase of each round) and lightning fast engine building via simultaneous play and generous compensation is sweeeeeeet. In just 4 rounds you have to have created the perfect balance between gaining resources and processing them i.e. converting them into money. You can only upgrade 1 building in your area per round (so only 4 in total) and each asymmetric player power gives you a particular advantage to leverage. Sometimes you want to win a particular building card for its processing power. But sometimes you don't want to win a building card because you want the resource compensation it offers instead. Trying to work out which card your opponent definitely wants also factors in as you might want to take it to prevent them from creating a v successful production line! I love the flashes of AP the bidding phase causes me - which card do I want? Which card will I need? Which card should I disrupt? Where will DumDum bid?? Ooh it's deliciously dilemma inducing. And it is then offset by a double quick production phase. I also love the way you have to decide in which order you trigger your cards each round. I'm eager (but a little scared!) to try the advanced variant where you lock in your production line and can't rearrange the order of existing buildings each round - planning to the max!!! I’ve been able to get little man interested in Dice Throne again and he’s been begging to play Adventure. We hadn’t cracked this in ages and I forgot how fun it is! I definitely need to add this to my solo games rotation again. And Santa and Krampus is just the silly icing on the cake. 😄
Game night! And we decided to play some Solar 175 from @cogitoergomeeple. While I've been boardgaming for close to 20 years at this point. I've never really got on with campaign games, to the point where I finish very few of the ones I start. I think it's because I tend to play them solo and then I get distracted and don't come back. I don't think that'll be the case for solar 175. For a start off, I'm playing this with other people. Add to that some of my favourite mechanics, (bag building, worker placement and area control) and you've got a recipe for success with me! After game number 1 I am the only player that didn't get to cross off any achievements. Mainly because everything I did well on I ended up getting beaten on a tie breaker. Oh well. Около года назад мне приехала Triqueta — не знаю, что пошло не так, но опробовали игру мы в итоге только сегодня. Зато сразу сыграли несколько партий (игра на 20 минут) — и двумя составами (втроём и вчетвером). ⠀ Правила. Очень простые правила, скажу я вам. Перед вами 4 трёхэтажные цветочные башни из плиток — они символизируют 4 раунда игры. В свой ход вы тянете плитку из текущей башни и можете либо забрать её себе взакрытую (таких тайных плиток за игру может быть всего две), либо выкладываете лицом вверх в один из рядов. Сколько рядов, столько игроков (Triqueta, если что, поддерживает состав до 5 участников). ⠀ Если вы не хотите в свой ход тянуть плитку, то должны забрать любой ряд. Можно даже тот, где 0 плиток (но поначалу это так себе вариант). Если вы забрали какой-то ряд, это считается пасом — а значит, раунд продолжается теперь без вас, пока каждый из участников не выберет ряд. Причём последний игрок всегда забирает оставшийся ряд, а вместе с ним жетон со следующей цветочной башни (он принесёт в конце игры 1 ПО) и право ходить первым в следующем раунде. Дальше, как вы понимаете, всё по новой, пока таким образом не иссякнут все «цветочные» стопки (или все игроки не спасуют в четвёртом раунде). ⠀ Максимум очков в игре вы получите за трикветры (что неудивительно, если приглядеться к названию) — это сеты из трёх плиток, красиво сложенные в трилистник (если сложите некрасиво, то тоже получите, если что 😀). Например, медведи в трилистнике принесут аж 10 ПО, а зайцы — 5 ПО. Все животные, которых у вас меньше 3, принесут по 1 ПО каждое. А вот если перебор, то ловите штраф — если у вас 4 оленя, например, то вы получаете -1 ПО за каждого оленя сверх трикветра. И при этом за трикветр не получаете ничего, только минуса. ⠀ Вот такая жизнь-боль, поэтому вам вроде хочется в игре набирать больше разных жетонов, но очень не хочется иметь много одинаковых и неподходящих… ничего не напоминает?) ⠀ Похожие игры. Сыграв в Triqueta, прям почувствовала, как же я давно в хобби) Triquerta вышла в 2023-м, а я играла лет 10 назад в простую, но очень захватывающую тогда «Колоретто» Михаэля Шахта, которая вышла за 20 лет до Triqueta! 😱 В общем, какие-то страшные числа. Escape The Rat Race 🐀💰💸 We recently got to try this super fun prototype card game which is launching on Kickstarter tomorrow 🎉 for all you fans of set collection this is a wonderfully designed game of living your life as either a professional or an entrepreneur, taking the risks and rewards in your stride to collect experiences in different eras, and sometimes taking slightly underhanded actions to get there 😂 The aim of the game is to manage to have a set of three experiences in each of the four eras, all of which have been very well matched to reality and are totally relatable! You'll collect income and a new card for your hand each turn, and have the option to pay to play one in front of you, however there are some schemey action cards in the mix, allowing you to race ahead a little or even take or trade cards with your unwilling opponents 😱😂 We decided to play as opposites with me being the professional 💅🏽 and @samjermy87 being the entrepreneur 💸 and honestly both sides are very well weighted- my income was far more consistent however Sam got some BIG windfalls which enabled him to take some baller turns of multiple actions! I haven’t had a chance to do any painting this month as I have been tidying up and sorting out my hobby room! (Yeah it’s a BIG job! And I’m a very SLOW tidier 😂) I do want to get it sorted though as I had a few problems due to the mess! (As well as working with brushes that were old and crappy and constantly dropping fibres!🤬) whilst working on my recent GCE painting competition entry! yeah! Lots of issues due to disorganisation and mess! And… I do want to take this whole mini painting thing seriously! So… yeah! Time for a change as far as my work ethos goes!👍 So… I thought I’d upload one of my 1st dozen or so paint jobs I did back in late 2022. I painted this one over the space of a day. I had a REALLY bad back at the time! So bad I could barely stand! So I just sat at my desk and painted this little Harpie! She’s all contrast paints and washes except for the skin and oh yeah! Looks like I forgot to paint her eyebrows!😂 never mind! 😂 Pretty sure those wings have broken off at least 2 times also!😬 but I dug her out of my old box today and thought it would be nice to share👍 I bought this 3D print off eBay probably mid 2022? Before I got my own printer, I believe she is from a studio called Ronnin Arts Workshop, I do love this little mini! I actually purchased the STL from MMF last year and I do have another one that I printed, so…. You will no doubt see her again in the future and I’m sure the paint job will be an upgrade on this one!👍 Anyway… I hope you like my old Harpie? Hopefully I will get a few days or so before the end of the month to get a mini painted!🤞and oh yeah!
