Thursdays are therapy days for my kids and so I have lots of down time in the waiting room. I normally try and get caught up on Podcasts or an Audible, today though I’m doing that and working on setting up my new @schoolnest lesson planning notebook. I brought some @simplygilded washi along with some @archerandolive washi, my corner puncher and am working on separating out months and weeks. Once that is done I’ll start slowly filling things in! One of the things I absolutely love about homeschooling is watching my children work together on something. Today I noticed that it was taking Rosalynn much longer than normal to finish her math lesson. I asked her if she needed help and she said she did. Well Ethan was standing right there so he grabbed a stool and sat down with her to help her out. Is every moment like this? Absolutely not. There is often arguing and shouting but that is also part of having children. Do moments like this just reinforce that this is the best choice for our family? As you all know - I am a planner! I like having things organized and sorted. It helps me focus on what the kids will learn....history is definitely one subject I like to keep organized...
