Many of the policies put in place meant to prevent workplace harassment were found to be either ineffective, not applied properly, or only applied to certain groups. Although data on gaslighting is extremely hard to collect, a survey conducted by the National Domestic Violence Hotline found that 74% of female victims of DV reported experiencing gaslighting by their partners.
