As long as the littlest is walking confidently there’s a lot they can go on! 🙌 • Loved the UKs only Nickelodeon Land and there’s lots of opportunities to meet and greet your fave Nickelodeon characters! My fave is Patrick, who’s yours?! ❤️ • Orlaith found her thrill factor and was able to go on The Big Dipper for the first time - there’s lots of choices for this in between age, like Nickelodeon Streak, the Big Dipper and Avalanche 🎢 (see last square 👀😂) • Make sure you visit the Big Pizza Kitchen for an all you can eat buffet of Pizza and Pasta at really good prices - and what’s more, ages three and under eat for free 🙌🍕 It’s such a fun day out for all the family! My 7yo DAUGHTER must have wanted to be close to me this morning, (she didn’t even tell me) and next thing I know, she’s asking to write on my hand. ‘I’ll do an L…O.. then a love heart!’ In typical Mama fashion on a hectic Friday morning, I said ‘cool!’ then sped out the door as we were almost late for school. Berlin spam incoming! Berlin was an amazing city, it reminded me a lot of London and the buildings were just so pretty. There’s so much to see and do there if museums are your thing. We went round a war bunker which was interesting and so eerie. The ground floor had been left untouched from 1945 and it was so dark and the smell, oh my gosh! By the end of the war 12000 people were crammed into this bunker. Unfortunately we wasn’t allowed to take photos, only of the outside (photo 6). There are so many war museums and a couple of hospitals to tour round and I wished I had more time to go and see them. Just like London, I think Berlin has a little piece of my heart and I can’t wait to go back again one day 😍🇩🇪

I said it the other weekend, and I don’t want to jinx it by saying it again, but these two have just become even closer over the recent months. Their bond is beautiful to watch. Leo is so protective over Zara, he sits and he teaches her new words and then praises her when she copies him. He asks her to be involved in his little games and tries to comfort her if she’s upset. He also just goes over to hug her or cuddles her when they’re sitting together on the sofa. He’s a very sweet natured little soul anyway but it seeing how he is with her is amazing. Zara is in awe of Leo. He’s the first thing she’s asks for when she wakes up, she wants to do everything he does and thinks he’s the best thing ever. She also tries to look after him, any time she gets a drink or any food, she always wants one for Leo and gets quite unnerved when he doesn’t want it too 😂 Don’t get me wrong, they certainly have their moments and I know they won’t always get along, and having quite a small age gap is certainly not always easy! Did you know the first day of spring is called vernal equinox? The first spring flowers are typically daffodils, dandelions, lilies, tulips, iris, and lilacs, to name a few. Lilies used to be my favourite ever flower, but now if I'm in a room for a second near them I start sneezing and get all heavy on my chest, as I seemed to have gotten allergic to them since having my last baby. This morning I made time to sit and plan my goals for April, establishing the most important of my intentions. About a year ago, I decided I would explore the effects of giving myself a head start on my most important goals for any upcoming period, about 2 weeks prior. So I would begin making moves (just small ones) on my New Year resolutions in December. I’ve found this method to work well for me, because it means once that period hits, I’ve kinda already done the ground work. I’ve already established some familiarity with this newly required behaviour. I’ve given myself a head-start on forming that new habit. I don’t allow this newly applied method to distract my attention from any current goals I have; my sole focus in the moment is only on them. But, Instead, I gently ease myself into the baby steps of each new goal. So for April, the baby step in my first goal was to look at where I can eliminate unnecessary spending - the sweet treats I don’t need; the unused TV subscriptions I could cancel; curbing my book addiction and actually reading the books I currently own. I intend to actually stick to batch cooking, as well as meal prepping when doing the food shop to cut out unnecessary overspending and food waste, so I’ve created a file in Notion with a range of meal ideas. When April hits…I’ll already be on my way. Find what works for you. Start small if you must. Just start.
