Nem tudja azt sem, hogy a barátai életben vannak-e még, bűntudata van, kicsit azt érezhetjük, hogy visszaesett abba az állapotba, ahonnan indult. Azonban ahogy haladunk előre az eseményekkel, Juliette végre elkezdi összeszedni magát, céltudatossá és magabiztosabbá válik, minden áron meg akarja találni a társait és azért dolgozik, hogy megdöntse a Regeneráció hatalmát. Ebben sokat segít neki természetesen Warner is, aki végre kicsit jobban előtérbe került és természetesen ezzel párhuzamosan a kettejük kapcsolata is alakul és egyre közelebb kerülnek egymáshoz. And as usual with popular books, the doubts about it come hand in hand. Not with this one, oh no. 📖 Book 20 of the year : Shatter Me 🩵 rating : 5 🌟 dystopian, closed door romance, bad ass female lead I binged this series last year in 13 days & because of my adhd, I literally remember barely anything other than I loved it. 💌 Last, Now and Next Reads February has been such a great reading month so far and I’ve already read 10 books this month so I thought it would be pretty fun to share the last book that I read, the books I’m currently reading and the book I plan to read after I finish the ones I’m currently reading. Last: If you’ve been following my stories, you might know that I’ve currently been rereading the Shatter Me series. I first read this series in April 2022 and I haven’t reread the books since. That being said, the last book I finished reading was Ignite Me, the third book in this series. I still stand by my rating of this book, being 5⭐️ and me thinking that this book is the best series. Seeing Aaron and Juliette’s relationship growth in this book was the best thing ever and I absolutely love the two of them in this book and ofc the ICONIC “lyhfml” scene🤭🤭🤭. Now: Since finishing reading Ignite Me, I started Restore Me and I’m having such a fun time. The book starts with one of my favourite scenes (💇♂️ iykyk) so getting to re read has been super fun. This book also has alternating POVs with Aaron and Juliette so I’m really loving that. This book also includes one of my favourite characters. Apart from Restore Me, I also started reading Belladonna by Adalyn Grace. This is a YA Gothic Fantasy Romance and I’m loving it so far. I really love the writing style. I’m only 50pages in so I can’t say much so far but I do think I am gonna love this book a lot and probably rate it 4 or 5 stars. Next: The next book I’m planning on reading is Bride by Ali Hazelwood. tbh the only other book by her that I’ve read is The Love Hypothesis which i loved (i rated it 4.5⭐️) and idk i just never found myself having an urge to pick up any of her other books but when this book was announced i was intrigued and then on Thursday i went into a bookstore for fun and I saw it and I did have a voucher for this bookstore so i only had to pay $10 for it so i do think that was a really good deal 🫧 On a slightly unrelated note, the “Think Later” album by Tate McRae has been HEAVILY on REPEAT 🔁 these past few weeks and I love it so much.

The „Shatter me“ series started slow, and Im totally ok with it, because we are in Juliettes head and she was held captive for a very long time, with no one to talk to. The writing is great! Her obsession with numbers and the counting, it was easy to dive into her world of chaos. „Unravel me“ got more and more exciting and „Ignite me“ is definitly the climax. I‘d say the books are a quick, but very intensive read. As you can tell english is not my native language and as a mother I‘m only able to read at night. But each book so far only took me 1 night. „Ignite me“ was very intense and emotional, so I decided to start another book, because I get emotional very fast, and „Ignite me“ was great. When I buy an enemies to lovers book I propably could expect, that the enemies get infact lovers, but the story of those two is so cute! I don‘t want to spoil much, but with „Ignite me“ we get to understand many actions from the characters. A few characters so far: Kenji: I love him. And he is -besides Kieran from the FBAA series- my book-best-friend of choice. His humour and his friendship with juliette is beautiful. Aaron #lyhfml Warner: this was a great character development! He respects and loves juliette in such a cute way. Just as I love my enemies to lovers story 😂 The morally grey villain, who only shows his feelings to her and gets all soft and fluffy. Juliette: she has the best character development (my opinion). The silent, inprisoned girl gets a independent strong women. Oh and Adam: he is like Gale, Dain or Chaol. I think this explains everything 😂 These characters are so similar. I didn’t like him from the beginning. I would totally recommend reading this series, although I have more books to go . „Ignite me“ is worth reading a whole series, especially because it is a quick read. So far there is not much spice. ⚠️ Contains Spoilers ⚠️ Disclaimer: Given below are just my opinions and perceptions. I mean no harm or offence to the author or the fans of this book. So, did I hate this book? I absolutely did not. I quite enjoyed it. There were times I was laughing(even in situations I shouldn't have been), and I had fun reading this. The great thing about this book was that it was so easy to read. It was also the most bearable book in this series. Now that we have established, I don't hate it let's get deeper in this review. Starting with the characters: Juliette. Honestly, I liked her better in this book. She is a lot les whiny and immature than the last one. But let's be honest, there are things about her character that make her very two-dimensional. Like when she comes up with 'the great plan'?! She's also very clearly invested more in her love life than everything else. Her character gets shot at the end of the last book, but as soon as she's healed, she becomes a different person. Getting shot was a good conviction for her to change, but you can't possibly change in 24 hours and become all tough and positive. wth?! Adam. Clearly, the author wanted us to hate him. So, while he was slightly problematic in the last book, in this one, he's a completely toxic ex. He keeps saying more and more hurtful things just for the sake of saying them. At this point, I've started to feel like the author wanted us to love Warner, so she made Adam 10x times worse in comparison. Aaron Warner. The internet sensation. To begin with, I never hated him for his questionable works in the first book. He has always been a captivating kind of person. But in this book, we finally get some backstory on him. I appreciate the depth. I dont really have a problem with him. He's better than the other characters. Kenji. This book turned him into a supportive best friend. I expected more. Now, there are other characters that I will not mention bcoz (no offence) I did not care about them at all. Der Hype auf TikTok sowie auf Instagram hat mich keines Falls enttäuscht. Ich habe definitiv eine neue Herzensreihe, wobei vermutlich keine Buchreihe jemals in der Lage sein wird, Acotar zu überholen bzw. zu übertrumpfen. 🤭 Aaron hat mein Herz genau so sehr wie Rhys. 💚🖤 Mir sind alle Charaktere sehr ans Herz gewaschen und ich möchte sie gar nicht mehr missen! JedeR hat für sich ein Stück weit sein / ihr eigenes Happy End gefunden und vor allem haben sie ineinander eine neue Familie gefunden. 🥰 Innerhalb der letzten beiden Kapitel des Epilogs hätte ich mir gerne noch mehr Informationen über die Zukunft der Welt von »Shatter me« gewünscht hätte. Sprich, dass es konkretere Hinweise darauf gegeben hätte, inwieweit es nun weitergeht und dass auch die Zukunft der anderen Protagonisten ein wenig angerissen wird. Noch bevor ich das Buch begonnen hatte, hatte ich gedacht, dass es ein weiteres Jahreshighlight werden könnte, doch leider ist dem nicht so. :( Es hat mich definitiv begeistern und packen können, allerdings fand ich die ersten zwei Drittel der Handlung etwas eintönig und habe mich vom Grundprinzip stark an »Restore me« sowie an »Defy me« erinnert gefühlt. Das ist grundsätzlich nichts Schlechtes, nur leider hatte ich deshalb manchmal das Gefühl, dass sich die Handlung im Kreis dreht. Zudem fand ich es auch schade, dass Juliette und Aaron so sehr getrennt voneinander waren. Es hat aufgrund der sechs Bände innerhalb der Reihe ohnehin bereits länger gedauert, bis die beiden sich finally zueinander bekannt haben, weshalb es mir dann nicht so gefallen hat, dass beide auch hier wieder nicht so wirklich gemeinsame Zeit miteinander teilen konnten. Und was soll ich sagen? Ich war constantly on the hook. <3 So viele Seiten zusammen habe ich schon wirklich für eine lange Zeit nicht mehr innerhalb eines Tages gelesen! Hinzu kommt, dass ich auch die letzten circa 240 Seiten ebenfalls innerhalb eines Tages verschlungen habe. ❤️🔥 An der Handlung habe ich hier rein gar nichts auszusetzen, wenn man das so nennen kann bzw. möchte. Es war wieder einmal super dynamisch und es kommen gleich zwei neue Settings dazu, wodurch man als LeserIn auch noch einmal mehr über die Welt der Reihe erfährt. Im letzen Drittel war ich wieder voll dabei. Ich habe soooo viel markiert, weil entweder auf jeder Seite etwas in Bezug auf die Handlung passiert oder es gerade emotional geworden ist. Die damit verbundenen Offenbarungen haben mich wieder einmal unvorbereitet erwischt. Und was Juliette alles durchlitten hat, das war manchmal fast zu viel für mich. 🥲 Damit zusammenhängend natürlich wie immer: Diese LIEBE, diese Aufopferungsbereitschaft, diese Hingabe zwischen Juliette :) und Aaron. Ich habe mich bei einer Szene total an Acowar (der dritte Teil der »Das Reich der sieben Höfe«-Reihe) erinnert gefühlt, dass ich direkt feuchte Augen bekommen habe. 🤧 (Möglicher Spoiler für den folgenden Absatz): Ich war wirklich so enttäuscht von Nazeera, ich habe es kaum glauben können, wie sich das Blatt gewendet hat. :( Aaaber umso glücklicher war ich, als es sich erneut gewendet hat. 🤭 Ich habe es absolut geliebt und mich so sehr darüber gefreut, dass Warner, ich sage mal, auftaut und eine neue Freundschaft knüpft - diejenigen, die das Buch gelesen haben, werden sicherlich wissen, wen ich meine. 🥳 (Weiter in den Kommentaren)

Ich merke, dass ich von Buch zu Buch immer weniger digital übersetzen muss und nach wie vor komme ich - dafür, dass die Reihe nicht in meiner Muttersprache geschrieben ist und ich vorher kein englisches Buch gelesen habe, - sehr flüssig durch die Seiten. Die wechselnden Kapitel aus der Sicht von Juliette und Aaron haben die Dynamik und Spannung über das Buch hinweg aufrecht erhalten, was mich stets zum Weiterlesen verleitet hat. Und, ihr Lieben, Nazeera. 🥹 Ich liebe sie jetzt schon total und habe auch sie in mein Herz geschlossen! Mir hat auch dieses Buch wieder sehr gut gefallen, allerdings hat in meinen Augen im Vergleich zu den drei Vorgängerbänden das Thema rund um Politik und Diplomatie einen großen Stellenwert eingenommen. Bei dem, was Juliette erreichen möchte, ist das nur logisch, aber stellenweise hätte ich mir etwas mehr Erklärungen gewünscht, da in meinen Augen ab und zu Handlungsstränge diesbezüglich nur angerissen wurden, um danach den Fokus wieder zum Beispiel auf Juliettes Kräfte zu legen. Als es schließlich zu all den mächtigen Enthüllungen rund um Juliette kam, habe ich so gut wie fast nur kopfschüttelnd oder mit der vor den Mund geschlagenen Hand vor den Seiten gesessen, weil OMG. Alle von euch, die mir geschrieben haben, dass »Ignite me« noch besser wird, als seine beiden Vorgänger - was soll ich sagen - IHR HATTET RECHT! 🫶🏻 Die letzen 150 Seiten haben mich wirklich absolut gepackt! Es ist so viel passiert und ich habe so viele verschiedene Emotionen gefühlt, das war unglaublich. Ich habe WIRKLICH Tränen verdrücken müssen, als Warner emotional vollkommen zusammengebrochen ist und sich hat fallen lassen. Alles, die Situation, wie es dazu kam, hat mich vollends berührt und mein Herz, mein Herz - es hat so sehr mitgelitten. Es wurde gebrochen und wieder zusammengesetzt. Umso glücklicher und umso mehr gegrinst wie ein Honigkuchenpferd habe ich, als ich zu der lyhfml-Stelle kam. 🫠❤️🔥 Das war soooo schön, auch das, was vorher passiert ist! Einfach die Art und Weise, wie Warner mit Juliette umgeht - auch da waren die Acotar-Vibes voll da. Und »Aaron?« - »Yes, love?« - I MEAN. 🥹😮💨🦋 Es gab wirklich einen Moment, da habe ich mich sehr stark an Acotar erinnert gefühlt, nämlich als es einen kleinen Hinweis auf Adam's neuen ›love interest‹ gab.
