One pot Vatha Kozhumbu rice. Those from tamil nadu relish traditional Kozhumbu curry. Easy & simplified to make this one pot dish.... Recipe : Ingredients: Rice 1 cup soaked for 30 minutes Tomato 1 cup cut Tamarind pulp 1 cup Vathhal 6 to 8 # Shallots 15 # Asafoetida 1/4 tsp Jaggery 1tsp Powder/Masala: 2tsp channa dal 1 tsp urat dal 1tsp Coriander seeds 1tsp mustard seeds 2 long red chillies 6 to 8 garlic 10 curry leaves 1 tsp fenugreek seeds 1 tsp Pepper Roast them dry and powder to fine consistency. Method : Use pressure cooker. Once heated, add sesame oil & add seasoning of channa dal+ urat dal + Cumin +mustard +red chillies + curry leaves +vatthal +shallots and roast well. Add tomatoes +salt +turmeric powder , cook for a few minutes. Add tamarind pulp+3 1/ 2 cups water + above masala + rice + chilli powder if needed +jaggery + Asafoetida powder +salt . Mix well. I downloaded apps that helped me to know which products I could eat and which ones I couldn’t. This is how the recipe for these chocolate pancakes was born. They turned out so delicious, and they were very easy to make. Ingredients: 🥞140 g Buckwheat flour 🥞20 g flaxseed meal 🥞40 g cocoa powder 🥞½ tsp baking soda 🥞100 g maple syrup 🥞300ml water (1 1/4 cup) 1)Combine all the ingredients together. 2) Mix thoroughly. 3) Preheat a non-stick frying pan to medium heat. 4) Cook the pancakes on both sides. 5) Serve them with chocolate or maple syrup, and with your favorite berries and fruits. ?Have you ever tried making chocolate pancakes? CHICKPEA SALAD САЛАТ С НУТОМ (на рус ниже) Let’s make a very simple, but delicious vegetable salad with chickpeas. I didn’t use any dressings this time. Instead, I added some lemon juice and salt. It came out very yummy. Also, this salad is suitable for those who are on a low FODMAP diet. Ingredients: 455 g cooked chickpeas 110 g bell pepper 75 g cucumbers (1 medium cucumber) 220 g tomatoes (1 big tomato) 20 g lemon juice (1/2 lemon) 10 g maple syrup 40 g fresh parsley 1 tsp salt 1) Cut all the vegetables into cubes, and finely chop the parsley. 2) Mix all the vegetables in a bowl. Add the chickpeas, lemon juice, maple syrup, and salt. 3) Gently mix everything. And that's it, the salad is ready! Enjoy! What is your favorite type of salad? You can substitute the ingredients if you wish. Save this recipe so you wouldn’t lose it. Share in the comments below what you think about this dish. 1 large pineapple 170 g onion, cut into cubes 70 g fresh carrots, cut into cubes 50 g bell pepper, cut into cubes 4 garlic cloves, minced 350 g cooked brown rice 1 ½ cup pineapple, cubed 70 g green peas (I have frozen) 15 g soy sauce 1 tsp curry spice 1 tbsp salt 1) Cut the pineapple in half, lengthwise. Carefully cut out all the pulp from each half, without cutting through the skin. 2) Put the onions, carrots, peppers, and garlic in a heated pan. Cook for 5 minutes. 3) Add spices, rice, pineapple, soy sauce, green peas, and peanuts. Cook for another 10 minutes, stirring regularly. 4) Place the rice in the pineapple, and garnish with chives, peppers, and chili pepper flakes on top. Bon Appetit! RATATOUILLE РАТАТУЙ (на рус ниже) Ratatouille is a dish that originated in France. The name itself sounds very fancy, but in fact, it is a simple, but colorful and delicious dish made from seasonal vegetables. When, if not now, make ratatouille, when all these vegetables are in season? ☺️ 🍆1 long narrow eggplant 🍆1 zucchini 🍆1 yellow squash 🍆2 roma tomatoes 🍆1 white onion 🍆4-5 small sweet peppers 🍆 Pepper, salt, dried basil, garlic to taste It is difficult to specify exactly how many vegetables you need for this dish, since they are all of different lengths and shapes. One thing I can tell for sure; for this dish it is important to have vegetables of approximately the same width. Sauce ✔️1 can (400g) tomatoes or tomato sauce ✔️1 bunch of fresh basil, finely chopped ✔️1 tbsp garlic powder (or fresh garlic) ✔️Salt and ground pepper to taste Mix all the sauce ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Cut all the vegetables into slices (with the same width) Pour the sauce into an oven safe dish. Layer the vegetables in a spiral or along the dish, in a pattern. had lunch at Miga Sushi in their newer Wayne location and loved it! So many vegetarian/vegan options - I had green tea along with the lunch special which included soup and salad. Their miso soup contained fish broth so I let my wife enjoy that while I noshed on the salad with ginger dressing. I love creating my own food combinations and recipes, sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. Today was the latter. I made a gluten free flatbread bruschetta with chopped tomatoes, red onions, olives, avo and fresh basil. The topping was delicious, the flatbread 👎. Omg guys. I've been #vegan for almost a year now (actually my #vegananniversary is next month) and this is the first time I've been able to recreate the taste of real cheese at home!! I made the kiddos and I nachos for lunch today and used a new recipe for nacho cheese using carrots, potatoes and nutritional yeast. And holy shitballs it tastes like cheese! Going vegan was the best dietary decision I've even made, but man, giving up cheese and ice cream were hard. #lunch is #homemade black bean chillie which I am slightly obsessed with right now! It took 15 minutes to make, I just adapted the recipe on my website and omitted the squash but grated carrot and courgette into it instead. Made the paste from the other ingredients in the blender, added beans and tomatoes and voila! Yum 😍 just perfect for this miserable rainy weather.
