It’s been over a month since I made a picture down at the ford at the bottom of the hill where I live. I felt that, whilst initially the routine got me out in winter with a camera, it got somewhat stale. So I decided to wait until spring started to kick in a bit more before returning to the theme. As it turned out, April was cold and wet (!) and then I got a little out-of-the-habit and just a bit distracted by other things, so it has taken me until now to return to the project. On Saturday I had the pleasure of documenting the wedding of Fenella & Archie. After heading down to Somerset the day before and had a lovely evening with the family as they prepared for the day. The day itself was blessed with blue skies, lots of sunshine and a church jam packed with guests. After being piped back to the house by a lovely Scottish bagpiper, onto the lawn for drinks. The wedding breakfast was served around the speeches and then the dancing started with a bang following a dress change by the bride. "Manželstvo na papieri" však postupne prerastá do omnoho vačšieho citu a Philly s Arthurom v sebe nachádzajú spriaznené duše. Ich šťastie však narušia nečakané n(á)ehody, kvôli ktorým majú podozrenie, že bohatý vojvoda si predsa len pre svoju "Perlu umenia" príde a získa ju pre seba. Ako dopadne príbeh lásky dvoch mladých ľudí? Bude im dopriate ostať spolu? Kniha je naozaj skvele napísaná, príbeh ma zaujal už pri prvých kapitolách a vďaka výbornému štýlu som si ju naplno užila. Príbeh je výborný, dej plynul hladko a krátke kapitoly takisto osviežili celkový dojem z čítania.
