Escaping or following our dreams.. This has been something I wondered about for years, literally. People who live a ‘different life’, people who ‘escaped’ from the ‘usual way’ of living, or from settling down or having a family back home.. is often seen as running away, as escaping from our problems or life in general.. I think nobody knows, and everybody is different. But we see things from where we know things. People who tried the life that’s ‘different’, often realise that this is what their heart craves for, often finding themselves literally depressed back in their ‘normal life’: often times these people want to do everything they can to shift their life and escape that way of living. Often it just stays as a dream, as a desire. And then sometimes they follow those whispers. They do everything in their power to make it happen. It takes a lot of work. It takes so much courage to follow that. The amount of trust that it requires is incredible. See, it seems like simply escaping and running away. But in reality, it takes a lot of inner strength and faith. It takes so much conviction, so that everytime there is uncertainty (and there’s a lot), that conviction powers you through. People who follow this. Often see the situation the other way round, they see that those who live ‘the normal, peaceful life’ (I’m generalising here but you know what I mean) - they see that as stagnant, they feel suffocated just thinking about it. They see that as bottling down their dreams and not listening. There are always two sides to each story, to each way of life.. and I believe everyone is here to live in their own unique way. The beautiful thing is tho.. that at the end of the day most of us want a peaceful life later on, a life of comfort, surrounded by love. There’s always a choice and a potentiality of missing out on something. How we get there varies, some are ready for it early in their lives and some are here to experience their lives to the brim of their possibilities and desires. Both are beautiful, both are courageous, as long as it’s aligned with what your being wants deep down within 💛

One of the dangers of spirituality is the feeling of being superior to others, to the rest of the world. It happens to many and it seems like a pretty standrand and natural process once we get into the spiritual or religious world, when we start learning about the ins and outs and start to understand the deeper meaning. I feel that the superiority awakens the most when we feel we ‘finally grasped’ this thing called life and we understand its meaning. We think we get it, we think all is light and love. Everything aligns in positive vibrations and we just have to flow with it. There is no room for anger, frustration, because hey.. that’s not love and peace.’. I was in that space too for a while a few years back, I thought it was the happiest I’ve been. I thought it’s me. Until at one point, my world turned upside down and my eyes opened. What an illusion. I understood that we are a tiny part of this life, that yes we have choices, yes we do run our story, but no - we are not superior to others. In fact, as soon as this feels the case - take two steps back and question yourself where is that ego coming from. Yes, we can know more than another person, yes we can have more experience in certain aspects of life, but no - we are not better than another, because we all have a different story, different history, different experiences and visions. The feeling that you know more, you are better, might for sure be the case in some examples, but all in all - you will never know enough about someone unless you have lived in their shoes, you have walked their path of joys and surrows. The happiest I’ve been is when I started bringing different aspects of me together, the spirituality and the ‘non spirituality’. When I started allowing anger and frustration to flow through - because oh it’s so needed, instead of keeping it inside boiling unknowingly. It’s all about balance. But until you are pushed to see it with your own eyes, it’s almost impossible to understand. But then your eyes open and your bullsh*t detector is at the forefront 🔴😄💛

Found myself in old familiar and peaceful surroundings, and heard the voice of spirit so clearly. What a wonderful feeling. My soul was at ease and open. The message that was uttered was, “everything happens in cycles”. It was timely and appropriate for my situation. It left me with such clarity and serenity. My stress and anxiety about pushing through and making something happen was put at ease. Be in spaces and places that speak to your heart, be surrounded by likeminded folk and also relax into life. We often would like to erase past mistakes and have everything running in this perfect little idealized timeline. But life is cyclical and we may take 500 steps back to be able to take 5000 forward. Real talk for a minute. Listening to spirit even when it doesn’t make sense is scary. And if I can trust enough to do it, so can you. A few weeks ago, I had a reading for done for myself. In said reading it was assumed that the podcast was still a weekly occurrence. When I said, “I guess I’m bringing the podcast back”, spirit didn’t even acknowledge it. It was not a suggestion from spirit, more like a demand (of course we have free will and do not have to listen to spirit and in that moment I chose to listen). And so I opened my calendar back up to podcast calls and interviewing spiritual people. Within a week, I had over ten calls scheduled. As I am moving through these amazing interviews, I have been reminded of the magic behind the podcast. To hear from other healers, lightworkers, and mediums has been absolutely enlightening in more than one way. And I know my job is to share their magic and stories with my audience to continue to send ripples of healing the collective. Moral of the story - trust the intuition even when it doesn’t make sense. Into the woods we go! Sometimes I just want to be with my best fur chicken exploring in nature alone… Sometimes I find myself in need of space, and finding myself in everything in between.
