Thank you so much @billybootleggersnottingham for an amazing night 🥰🤘🏻 While this was a show fraught with setbacks, with our drummer Dan falling ill AND the tour supports unable to perform thanks to their vehicle breaking down, it was still an incredible evening. All you beauties were so wonderfully appreciative of my acoustic set, which I felt was one of my strongest solo Confyde performances I've done for a while 🎙️ I also took the opportunity to give the brand new song "Hxppy Nxw Yxxr" it's official live debut. Great news is… we finished the route no probs… bad news … someone bashed in our window and stole all of our PB, hiking and vacay stuff. They left the popcorn maker, protein smoothie maker and growlers, however. And left a bag of Payday candy bars! Not a bad first day on the Texas Hill Country route! 🚴🏼♂️🚴🏼♀️ With very little wind and a very low mileage day at just 4️⃣0️⃣ miles, we started in Austin and ended in the little Texas town of Martindale finding Lone Star ⭐️ longnecks for just $2. Tom even squeezed in a short nap on some church steps. Although the skies didn’t give way to sun all day, it was warm and so good to be out riding again. And… we scored a nice little campsite not far from the San Marcos River for the night. Just $20, less than a mile out of town. Bathrooms closed tho so gotta get a little creative in that regard. 😬
