A few days ago we woke up at 3am with an overwhelming urge to create something new — likeeee I’m a girl who loves her sleep but I swear a higher power took over and was like, LISTEN TF UP 📣 Since the eclipse season chaos we’ve sort of been going through the motions of yet another identity crisis — something I’ve been familiar with since as long as I can remember. Being born mixed in a super small town and considered the “brown girl”.. I always felt like the oddball out, black sheep, little alien — even in my immediate family. I secretly believed I was adopted for many years 👽 (Scorpio rising/Aquarius N Node, 4H) Suddenly, this idea came through about our middle name holding deep ancestral codes clicked 💡 A name I used to hide in shame. When I was young other kids bullied us for it and would “jokingly”mispronounce it on purpose and laugh. It was a constant reminder that I was different and when you’re young all you want is to feel like you belong.. now I feel honored to have such a beautiful unique name. Not to mention, our last name translates to “warrior” as well. When the words @hoku.rebels came together, my body lit up like a Xmas tree! I knew this was the direction and inspiration I was seeking for so long! The freedom and permission of what this brand stands for comes deep from our heart and soul. A space where I want to incorporate all of the wisdom, healing, trials and tribulations we’ve experienced on our path — into one safe space where we can build community and feel fully expressed, authentic, wild and free (our Sag Moon has been aching for it) 🐎 A new beginning A blank page A soul calling A place where you become the muse 🎨 I want to formally invite you to join us on this journey — and if you say yes, prepare for huge shifts and transformation 🦋 We love you and look forward to what this next chapter reveals.
