It might have ended up employing more and more horrifically oppressive politics bordering on downright ethnic replacement. It might justify its violence pretty much all over the global North through a blend of latent anti-semitism and overt Islamophobia that's as indistinguishable as it's nonsensical. It might have been made possible by the ideological and literal weaponization of Western guilt to serve Western interests that is an absurdist, paradoxical masterpiece of reactionary rhetoric. But it doesn't mean it should stay like that forever and it doesn't mean that the domination over others is intrinsic to the Zionist idea.
