In this video we spend the day relaxing and taking it easy after a couple days of touring the parks. We start our day with breakfast in our room and doing our laundry in the guest laundry room. While are clothes dry we spend an hour by the pool before the rain started. After some pool time and doing laundry, we went to an Indian restaurant called Madras Café in Orlando to have lunch with our friends Mitch (@mitchytheman) and Devon from Our Florida Passport (@ourfloridapassport). After an amazing lunch, we went back to the Wilderness Lodge for dessert and to wait out the rain before dinner. As the rain came to an end it was time for dinner. For dinner we went over to Disney Springs to eat at House of Blues with our friends Cris (@cristhegirl) and Jay (@tampajay). There are 3 main type of resorts at WDW: Deluxe, Moderate & Value. There's also some fun villas & campgrounds, as well. Today we are starting with one of my faves: The Polynesian Resort! This is a deluxe resort that also offers Villas & Bungalows. It is a beautiful resort that makes you feel like you've been swept away to the South Pacific! 🌸 💫This resort is on the monorail trail and is only 1 stop from Epcot. 💫There are multiple amazing restaurants & lounges that will keep you and the kids satisfied , whether it's Ohana for a fun character breakfast with Lilo & Stitch or a one of a kind drink from Trader Sams you have plenty to choose from! They also have Dole Whip here (this is very important to me lol) 💫There are multiple pools & a slide that were just given a refurb this year- my personal favorite is the volcano pool. 🌋 💫Jogging trails, beach volleyball, movies under the stars & Senses Spa are some wonderful extras to this resort. 💫Last but not least, you can view the Electrical Water Pageant from the Poly. It was a beautiful evening after our dinner at Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. We took the ferry from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground to Disney's Magic Kingdom Park and then the ferry from there back to our resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. We saw the Electrical Water Pagent and we arrived back to our resort in time to watch the fireworks from the beach area again. Day Nine: A bit of a slower start today with a breakfast at Kona Cafe where we had the Tonga Toast and the Macadamia Nut Pancakes. We went for a wander around the beautiful Grand Floridian Hotel next door before heading into Animal Kingdom for our last visit this trip.
