While all Disney resorts are spectacular, Disney’s 8 deluxe resorts are extra special. Deluxe resorts all feature large pools with slides and most have splash pads for the youngest visitors. They have the most amenities, and are the most luxurious. You’ll also receive early entry into the parks and on select nights get to stay late as well! Wilderness Lodge is tied, for me, with Animal Kingdom Lodge as the best resort at Walt Disney World. I absolutely love the theming here and it is executed perfectly. It is designed after the Old Faithful Inn which is located in Yellowstone National Park, which is somewhere I would love to stay at. 🚨New Video on our YouTube Channel🚨 🔗 Link to our channel in the bio Hello fellow ticket holders. Join us for a relaxing rest day at Walt Disney World. In this video we spend the day relaxing and taking it easy after a couple days of touring the parks. We start our day with breakfast in our room and doing our laundry in the guest laundry room. While are clothes dry we spend an hour by the pool before the rain started. After some pool time and doing laundry, we went to an Indian restaurant called Madras Café in Orlando to have lunch with our friends Mitch (@mitchytheman) and Devon from Our Florida Passport (@ourfloridapassport). After an amazing lunch, we went back to the Wilderness Lodge for dessert and to wait out the rain before dinner. As the rain came to an end it was time for dinner. For dinner we went over to Disney Springs to eat at House of Blues with our friends Cris (@cristhegirl) and Jay (@tampajay). Day 3 recap ✨ Typhoon Lagoon & Hollywood Studios ✨ Apparently this was a day of not many photos, but it was a pretty busy one! Started off the day with a slow one at the resort, ✨home✨. Then it was time for some fun at Typhoon Lagoon. Lots of time in the kids area, the lazy river and some slides - it was SUPER HOT so we didn’t last too long ☀️ Then it was straight to Hollywoooood for a much needed Starbucks, a 10/10 dinner at Mama Melrose, a couple of rides & the new Tower of Terror cookie from Joffrey’s. WE NEED KEEEEETCHUUUUUP! You never know what adventure you are going to have at Whispering Canyon Cafe, but be prepared to be absolutely roasted by the waiters and waitresses! During this particular visit, we asked the table next to us for the ketchup instead of the waiter, and he put me in "jail" for being a thief. I then had to ask the room for ketchup in order to buy my freedom. This restaurant may not be for everyone, but if you are willing to have a little fun, and maybe be a little embarrassed, this can be a great experience. Vegan Macaroni and “Cheese” Bites 📍 Geyser Point Bar & Grill, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Orlando, FL These huge deep fried Mac n cheese balls are a nice tasty treat! As with most vegan Mac n cheese options though, it’s more Mac than cheese, but the tomato and pepper dipping sauce is a perfect pairing for this delicious appetizer. Klahoose Wilderness Resort was originally erected in 2008, with local timber and was originally named Homfray Lodge after the channel where it is located. The original al name for this narrow channel separating the mainland with the islands of Desolation Sound - ‘Thee chum mi yich’ – means travelling further back inside the passage.
