Inspired by @sosaythestars I decided to share a couple more tarot cards which might help you get to know me. My big three are represented in the Major Arcana by Death (Scorpio Sun), Justice (Libra Moon) and Strength (Leo Rising) but what about the minor arcana? Well, Sun in Scorpio is Six of Cups and Moon in Libra is Two of Swords. Looking at both of these cards I feel they are pretty accurate. With the Six of Cups, most of my friendships are historic and long lasting. Once I am your friend you can pretty much guarantee you have me on your side for life. I have a long memory though, good and bad. I will never forget how you helped me or how you loved me... but I will also never forget how you betrayed me or hurt me. This is honestly why most of my friendships have ended. I just can't f*cking let it go 🤣 I am also a big kid. I love to joke and play. I like to reminisce too. The good old days, my childhood... I miss them and treasure them so much. With the Two of Swords, decision making is a difficult process for me. I don't struggle with them as such but I do not like to be rushed. I think and think and think again. I do not like to be influenced or listen to external opinion either. My blindfold is usually always on, rightly or wrongly, because I do these things alone. Even my beloved dead when I pray too, and with them and honour them by acknowledging them. The background of this card are warm colors, yellow orange and pinky. In the centre is a platform which looks like a trunk of a tree. It could be a large rock. Surrounding the rock looks like clouds and sitting on this rock are 4 women in meditation posture with their eyes closed. There are all dressed in light, white relaxed clothing, and their hair is long and free. From the top of the card are four lines that reach the top of each of their heads. One line is this orange pink colour of the card and three lines are a turquoise color. There are six tiny white balls draping from the outer lines to each other. So I sat a while with it and I'm thinking about Man's Law and Universal Law. Man's Law is subject to manipulation. It may not always catch up with you. It's finite and faulty. I pulled 3 of Wands to represent the question that tomorrow’s conjunction asks us. How do we want to grow? What far horizon is beckoning? Good morning all ☀️ a different kind of post and reading today. One of my most favourite practices I’ve developed over the last year has been what I call “tea with the queen of cups”. Which is really just the conversations I get to indulge in with my cousin. Today she pulled a card and it has me ruminating on a word. I do love when a word strikes me as different than I’ve always thought of it. So todays word is threshold. Thresholds are a funny thing when you think of them. Yes, they are a representation or point up to which you believe you can take. But then I’ve been thinking that they are also things that represent a bridge or a doorway. The threshold of a doorway is something you can step over and into something new. So instead of a thinking of a threshold as an enduring action it becomes one of an action of ease and anticipation. Walking over a threshold and through a door is an action that is done without resistance, it holds anticipation and excitement for what’s on the other side and is a far more enticing perspective to take then one that is holding you under with pressure, fear and doubt.
