Як минув у вас 8 травня День Першого Покосу?🌿 Зазвичай на цю дату я плету перші у році вінки та мотаю Димові Персти. Але цього року відійшов від цієї традиції і варив вчора зілля зі зрізаних трав. Між інших, минулого травня, здається, на початку місяця був Ретроградний Меркурій і заготівлю Перстів я відклав аж на 28 число – День Других Покосів. І це були Персти із гарнючими величезними півниками теракотового кольору для фінансових здобутків. Нині ще встигає повторити цей досвід, але, можливо вже з квітами інших кольорів на інакші магічні результати.💜🧡💙 Тим часом вже післязавтра є нагода для того, щоб палити Персти, які добре просушені і готові до знайомства з вогнем. Адже 11 травня – День Повітря (початок, Квадри, коли від останнього місяця весни до останнього місяця літа включно кожне 11 число присвячене окремій стихії). А одне зі звичних способів спілкування з Повітрям у цей день – передання йому послань закладених у дим.🌬 Треба подивитися у своїх запасах, що зберіглося для такої нагоди. Нещодавно спалив ті, які мотав у грудні з пагонами мандарину та розмарину. Visions of the Viridarium - The Seal'd Garden by Daniel Yates. I regret that my photography skills, or lack thereof, fail to adequately capture the essence of this masterpiece. I just received the custom frame job and felt compelled to share. Photos taken a.m. and p.m. as shown impacts the hue. Unlike traditional framing that typically provides crisp lines, I opted instead to showcase the piece as I believe was intended and had it mounted instead to show the "rough" edges of the handmade Khadi Lokta paper. I regret being barred from the tangible pleasure of holding the paper but felt this would preserve it long term behind museum glass. I gardened for joyful food and healing herbs as an astrologer, cultural arts worker, artist, and dancer and you can too! Parents can advocate for garden education in schools. Anything is possible if we envision it and act upon it! It's led me further down the path of medical and herbal astrology! I've had headaches and migraines due to all of the global and solar chaos and found out that feverfew is a wonderful medicinal herb. I've not only bumped into it at a grocery store but was given a feverfew / featherfew plant at a local library plant swap and then found it growing wild in abundance at our local community garden. 🍒🥦🫒IT'S HAPPENING. Before the pandemic I planted a garden here in Los Angeles knowing what was coming, and I was able to feed my neighbourhood with home grown vegetables and herbs. I posted in local Facebook groups, giving and selling produce at half the cost of market rates to locals. 5 different local libraries near me in Southern California have already started seed libraries and plant swaps. You heard me right. Garden programs are blooming everywhere, gardens in schools, community gardens, and senior centers. An app called Galora here in the states allows anyone growing produce and vegetables to post so that you can pick up surplus veggies for free, trade, or cheap. The new urban home-steading model is to create food forests so that all local trees can produce fruit and make patches of city land into gardens in urban and suburban spaces. Community refrigerators are showing up for food give aways! We aren't waiting; we're creating. In proper celebration of May Day, I'll quote the Workers and Wobblies. When at strikes and protests, the militia would demand of the strikers: "Who is your leader?!" Про повновладдя трав: Завтра важлива нагода для чаклувань. Ось як писали про це із @annaamargo у листі №6 квітневого практикуму з магії: «Третій місяць весни цілком виправдовує свою назву. Адже таки це час трав. Які, цмулячи сили з усіх чотирьох Стихій, вже видерлися людині по коліно, тож нині можна різати їх для того, щоб перейняти для себе всі ті шанси, що закладені в них. В календарі нашої магічної традиції маємо кілька дат, що пов’язані із ритуальним косінням трави. Ритуальним, аже з одного боку умовним, а з іншого – символічним. Умовність полягає в тому, що вам не треба мати для цього справжню косу, виходити з нею на луку і працювати там до втоми в руках. Достатньо вийти з ножем (бажано таки ритуальним) і зрізати бодай пучечок трав, що ростуть неподалік від вашого дому. А символічність цих дій в тому, що ви не просто ріжете трави, а демонструєте Світові, що у такий спосіб берете якийсь корисний ресурс, що пов'язаний із цими рослинами, чи точніше, Силами, що стоять за цими рослинами. Ці дати розподілилися між першою та другою половиною місяця. В першій половині їх підсумовує 8 травня – День Першого Покосу. А в другій: 28 травня – День Другого Покосу. Отже, ритуально різати трави можна будь-коли. І в квітні, і у будь-який день травня, і влітку, і у вересні… А дати в календарі існують для того, щоб увійти у спільну Хвилю. Оскільки і 8-го і 28-го травня чимало людей в різних куточках земної кулі будуть з ритуальної метою зрізати трави – ця активність піднімає спільну Хвилю з магії, яка допомагає підняти ефективність кожного окремого результату. Здебільшого різатимуть дикорослі злакові трави, які символізують фінансові ресурси людини. Однак не обмежуються лише ними. В хід йдуть і будь-які їстівні трави (ті ж кульбабки), на примноження матеріальних можливостей взагалі, які не обмежуються самим лише питанням грошей.
