ADVENTURE IDEA OF THE WEEK: Take pics with an outdoor Christmas tree! 🎄 🎄 One year, when we lived in Austin, only a few of us were together at Christmas, and we needed something fun to keep our minds off the ones who were missing. 🌲 So, I decided it might be fun to divide into teams and go on a Christmas tree scavenger hunt. 🌲 There were only three rules: 1️⃣ Find as many Christmas trees as you can (on foot in downtown Austin) 2️⃣ Take a team selfie to prove up each tree (no cheating!) 3️⃣ Meet in one hour at the bigggggg Christmas tree in front of the Texas Capitol Building on Congress Avenue for a memory-making group photo 🌲 We had so much fun! My granddaughter and I were Team 1, while Grumpy (my better half) strategized for a hopeful win with our oldest and youngest adult kids. 🌲 @kynzie_k_ward and I won by a landslide (or maybe around 5 points), but Christmas fun was had by all. 🌲 We captured pics with trees in hotel lobbies, in store windows, on apartment balconies and hanging on street lamps. 🌲 You don’t have to plan a big event, though, friends. Just intentionally hunt down an outdoor Christmas tree, take a pic and then go home for peppermint hot chocolate. ☕️ And then check out a whole bunch o’ Christmas tree pics on my stories. 🌲 Your turn!
