So confession: I’m not the biggest Selena fan. Maybe it’s because of her style of music or that I tend to stray away from big names (like my mediocre fandom of TS) but this album is a vibe. Honestly, I’ll listen to the whole thing, deluxe version too (which I received a download for with this), straight through if I’m working out or want something more upbeat. It’s not that Selena isn’t talented, she certainly is, but I guess my preference is more indie artists with stripped down sounds and less synth-pop, though she mixes in a lil R&B and you can hear her Latina roots come through on some songs too.
