One of the must visit places in Kyoto is Fushimi Inari, a beautiful shrine with about 10,000 torii gates ‼️ Be prepared for the crowds when visiting during Cherry Blossom Season. I was there at 9 am and check the last slide to see how busy it was. 💎 My tip to beat the crowds when visiting Fushimi Inari is to get there right after sunrise. The shrine is open 24 hours so you’ll definitely beat the crowds the earlier you go. I thiught taking my own pics this day would be a challenge but I think they turned out pretty good. Mère nature, Aimante, elle nous porte, nous nourri et nous enlace lorsque nous devenons poussière. Belle et généreuse, nous sommes heureux sous ses beaux jours et de ce qu’elle nous offre. Parfois dure, elle nous enflamme ou nous noie jusqu’à que nous implorions sa clémence. Mais une fois déchaînée, elle ne répond plus de rien. Elle nous gronde, elle nous secoue au point de voir rouge et de se laisser emporter négligeant ainsi les dégâts qu’elle cause. Cependant, enfant ingrat que nous sommes, notre reconnaissance ne dure qu’un temps car nous ne l’apprécions pas tous à sa juste valeur. On l’ampute, on l’étouffe, on la tue à petit feu, ce même feu qui finira par nous consumer. Certes, elle renaît toujours de ses cendres, mais en continuant ainsi, nous courons à sa perte. La nature est bonne et bien faite, c’est l’essence même de la vie. Puis en fait, elle se suffit à elle seule car elle n’a pas besoin de nous. C’est nous qui avons besoin d’elle. Celebrating Japanese Bridal Fashion Designer Yumi Katsura 👰 📍 YUMI KATSURA MUSEUM WAKASA, Wakasa (Fukui) Yumi KATSURA, an internationally acclaimed bridal designer, passed away on April 26th, 2024, at the venerable age of 94 The Tokyo-born pioneer studied design and couture in Paris, and went on to open the first ever bridal boutique in Japan in the 60s She is credited with bringing the wedding dress as we know it to Japan, where brides would traditionally wear the kimono on their big day 💍 And from the 80s onward, her designs have been showcased in fashion shows in some 30 cities across the world, including New York and Paris 🤩 It is said that over 700,000 women wore a creation of hers on their wedding day!
