We had a chance to rent a truck but then we lost that deal by not confirming the reservation in time and we ended up picking this car at the Hertz Five Star lot in DFW and we have enjoyed this car very much. One of the highlights from our last visit to #taiwan was our stay at @sheratongrandtaipei ✈️🇹🇼🏩 We booked the parent-and-child theme suite room, which was a kids haven! The room was divided into 2 sections - 1 side came with a mini-playground that had a slide and a swing, and an assortment of toys; the other side was a king bed and a children bed (most hotels offer only a floor bed or a trundle bed). The hotel also made it super convenient by situating the play areas on the same level as the family rooms. The ball pit, playground, kitchen toys and giant blocks were fun for our kiddos. The older kids might enjoy the gaming room (Mario Kart etc) more. The rooftop pool wasn’t as memorable as it didn’t have any special features, but the kids enjoyed themselves nonetheless. The only issue I had was that the room was quite dusty even though there’s an air purifier. We paid about TWD16,900 for a night, including breakfast. It was a worthwhile experience ❤️ We actually didn’t need to plan much for this trip as the kids didn’t want to leave the hotel 😂 💡I called the hotel directly to make a reservation as I couldn’t find the special theme rooms on their website and on sites like booking.com. #traveltaipei #kidstravel #kidshotel

De meeste dingen op onze to-do-list konden we lopend doen, er zitten goede restaurants in de buurt, een 24/7 winkel ernaast, een ijsjes zaak ertegenover. ☕️🥐🍳Het ontbijt en de ontbijtzaal zijn netjes, alles is schoon en fris en er hangt gewoon een lekkere goede sfeer ❣️🍴🙏🏻👌🏻 We keken uit op een van de typische Barcelonese straatjes, Elynn sliep knus naast ons in een goed bedje dat uit de kast kwam en onze bedden waren ook top. Het zwembad op het dak hebben we niet gebruikt, maar zag er top uit. Hello Sunshine finally! ☀️ After a very busy few months, I am so excited to get out exploring and on our usual family adventures! One of the most prettiest places we ever visited in the UK is the Lakes! There’s so much to see and do in the lakes. We really enjoyed the beautiful hotel stayed in with stunning views across Lake Windermere! Some activities we enjoyed included: taking a boat ride across the lake and visiting the beautiful villages located in the Lake District, including Ambleside and Bowness on Windermere where you find the The world of Beatrix potter attraction! There were also some great National Trust sites dotted across The Lake District and we visited Beatrix Potters home which is a National trust Property! Who knew a gorge could provide so many photo opportunities! • Therissos Gorge is one of the gorges than can be easily driven through here in Greece and provided so much beautiful scenery. The kids really enjoyed the drive through stopping anytime we seen a nice formation, whipping them out the car and standing in the middle of the road for photos, running to the side whenever we seen a car. A friend asked me yesterday how Leo travelled last year on our holiday and if I had any tips for travelling with kids. I don't! But, I thought it might be funny to share how a 5 year old handled a 4 week overseas holiday through photos. I will start with the flight... 1. He had to help with everything! 2. Of all the food choices in the lounge, he chose to eat peanut butter packets 3. Yes, every button was touched, and I panicked that he would break something 4. Could care less about celebrating the adventure ahead 5. Didn't really know what to do with the nice smelling warm face washer... this will do! 6. We hoped he would spend the next 24 hours like this... 7. Instead, it was more of this! 8. Had a very small amount of sleep 9. Pissed off, he was woken for breakfast 10. Our excursion in George Town included stopping at a snorkeling spot and heading to starfish Island. The water was perfectly clear to see all the way down and everything in it. It was too rough for us to get out and snorkel so I chilled on the steps of the boat and got some pics, but it was nice and perfect at Starfish Island so we hopped out to meet the locals. If you are in the port be sure to taste a sample of the rum cake AND the rum. I was tipsy off a bite of cake and a shot of rum (the guy giving out the samples was Jamaican so I got a nice sized sample hahah) So good.
