Nacho and I hiked the Devil’s Bridge via Mescal Trail! This was a pretty tough hike especially because there aren’t many shady places. Like, my sunburn still hurts 😂. Devil’s Bridge via Mescal Trailhead Info 📋 1. This trail gets extremely hot and per the trailhead, it is recommended to bring one gallon per person 2. Make sure to put your sunscreen on your shoulders unless you wanna be like me and get sun poisoning 😭 3. You will need to use all your arms at some point during the hike so this is not the most friendliest hike for all Tip: You will wait around 30-45 mins to get a photo op at the bridge so make sure you give yourself an ample time for this hike. Definitely bring a meal and snacks to enjoy while waiting! Why we would recommend ‼️ 1. Though it gets very hot, it is fairly short 2. The view from the top is amazing 3. Devil’s Bridge is quite wide, so as long as you get to the top, you are going to have no issue walking on the bridge Would you dare to walk on the bridge 😈? Este día se me olvidó el celular en el carro por salir corriendo a tomar El shuttle. Pensé con horror, ay no las Fotos. Fue de las mejores caminatas. Estuve enfocada, caminamos tranquilos pero a paso constante porque teníamos 2.5 horas para regresar y alcanzar el último shuttle. Hacía calor pero había una brisa rica que ayudaba. El camino era plano la mayoría del tiempo, hasta que llegas a la montaña y tienes que subir. No había mucha gente tal vez porque eran las 3:00 pm. La recompensa, una formación impresionante que el viento, El agua, El calor, El frío han formado a través de los años. El puente es más ancho de lo que parece, igual hay que tener cuidado. SEDONA 🇺🇸 I wasn't too sure of what to expect of Sedona. On one hand, I read that the city was too touristic, at least in comparison to other places here. On the other hand, all of the photos and videos I saw looked so beautiful. It was a thought decision whether to keep it or not on the itinerary. The fact is that the combination of red rock with the lush green provides a stunning landscape everywhere you look. Sedona is also known by its energy vortexes, thought to be centres of energy conductive to healing, meditation, and self-exploration. I am glad I trusted my instinct in the end and decided to keep Sedona on our (already full) itinerary. It's been one of my favourite places so far, and I wish I had there a couple more days to do a few more hikes, dig digger into nature and just calmly take in the positive energy that Sedona transmits. #sedona #usaroatrip

On a family trip to Wales last summer, I made time for the usual suspects: Pembrokeshire, Aberystwyth, Anglesey and the national parks. I also made a day trip to Devil’s Bridge, a place I had only seen in a couple of episodes of Hinterland, a noir crime drama set in Wales. The dark and atmospheric Devil’s Bridge comprises three bridges that span the Afon Mynach, a tributary of the Rheidol. Each one, built upon the previous bridge, can be reached by the Rheidol Steam Railway, and had made it to my travel wish list since I saw the show in 2018. I am not the only one who’s guided by the screen when it comes to travel plans. According to Expedia, the screen is sparking wanderlust across the world. Its No-Normal: Unexpected Travel Trends revealed that 66% of travellers worldwide have “considered visiting a destination after seeing it featured in a show or movie they have streamed at home, and 39% have booked a trip for the same reason”. Wow...Sedona is amazing!! I met my buddy @blurooster in Arizona to do some hiking. First on the itinerary was Sedona...and the Devil's Bridge! This short hike packs a steep little punch at the end...but the views are amazing! You have to start early, cause a line forms to get a picture on the bridge. We started at 6:30 in the morning. By the time we got to the bridge, there were about 3-4 groups in front of us waiting to take a picture. When we left, that number had swelled to way over twenty!! This was a great first hike and an awesome intro to Sedona hiking. Devils Bridge ✨ 📍Sedona, Arizona This hike was an easy 3.9 miles out and back. It’s definitely one of the easier hikes that I’ve done - most part of the trail is flat. The only challenging part of the hike is when you get closer to the top and have to climb up some steep rocks. There were lots of families and dogs on this hike. I would highly recommend going early because there was a line to get photos on the bridge. You can take a shuttle to the start of the trail or you can find parking in the parking lot which is very limited. Thankfully we were able to find parking. Sedona es increíble y no necesita filtros. El trayecto de senderismo al Devil’s Bridge es una experiencia de resiliencia y condición mental, no necesariamente física (lo digo por mi, que estoy totalmente fuera de forma y sin embargo, logré alcanzar la meta). La motivación de ver la sonrisa de tu hijo y las botellas de agua son un must. Esta fue nuestra última parada antes de llegar al puente y fue para mi el lugar mas bello del trayecto.
