The castle is so attractive and picturesque that several directors chose it as a setting for their films like Roman Polanski who shot The Fearless Vampire Killers here. It was built in the 13th century and belonged to the von Taufers family. Originally a wall built on a high cliff protected inner strictures like a tall watch-tower, a residential house and other auxiliary houses. It was a Romanesque ensemble, which transformed into a well-protected Gothic compound after it was acquired by the von Fieger family in the 15th century. At that time the castle was reinforced with towers, tower gates and drawbridges which are still there today. The castle has 64 rooms out of which about two dozen can be visited on a guided tour. Starting from the 17th century the Taufers Castle was gradually deteriorating for some 300 years. In passato, i cardinali di Roma spesso portavano come dono di ospitalità teste di statue antiche. Poiché l'intera statua era troppo pesante per il trasporto, si limitavano a portarne parti. La nostra testa arrivò al castello dopo la seconda guerra mondiale, quando il cardinale Eugene Tisserant era spesso in visita al Castel Taufers dal titolare abate Girolamo Gassner. 🏛️ Il castello, completamente ammobiliato e in ottimo stato di conservazione, ospita un’interessante collezione di oggetti di arredo e opere d’arte dal XII sec. agli inizi del XVII sec. Burg Taufers ist ganzjährig geöffnet, also auch im Winter für unsere Besucher zugänglich. Um einen geringen Aufpreis zur gewöhnlichen Eintrittskarte können zusätzlich auch die Schauräume der Burg mit Führung besichtigt werden. Dabei werden über zwanzig eingerichtete Räume gezeigt, darunter der Gerichtssaal, die Bibliothek, die Kapelle, der Rittersaal, das Krankenzimmer, die spätgotische Amtsstube, das “Geisterzimmer”, die Rüstkammer, das Kardinalszimmer und die übrigen wohnlichen Gästezimmer. Beeindruckend wirken das Verlies und die “Folterkammer”. Eine Sammlung von Schülerporträts aus dem 16. Jahrhundert stellt eine außerordentliche Rarität dar. Gruppenführungen sind auf Anfrage jederzeit möglich. Il Castello di Tures è aperto tutto l’anno, quindi è accessibile ai nostri visitatori anche in inverno. Con un piccolo sovrapprezzo rispetto al normale biglietto d’ingresso, è possibile visitare le sale del castello con una visita guidata. Sono esposte più di venti stanze arredate, tra cui l’aula del tribunale, la biblioteca, la cappella, la sala dei cavalieri, l’infermeria, l’ufficio tardogotico, la “stanza dei fantasmi”, l’armeria, la stanza del cardinale e le altre accoglienti stanze degli ospiti. Impressionanti sono le segrete e la “camera delle torture”. Una collezione di ritratti di studenti del XVI secolo è una straordinaria rarità. Schneeklasse ~ Classe de neige Freitag-vendredi 19.01.2024 Après avoir visité le château Taufers nous avons pu acheter des souvenirs. L’après-midi, nous avons pris notre première leçon de ski et sommes descendus la piste sans problèmes. Spero vi piaccia! ❄️ Castel Taufers, fiancheggiato dall'imponente panorama delle vette dolomitiche, è uno dei castelli più imponenti di tutta l'area Tirolese. ❄️ La rocca fu ampliata di volta in volta nell'arco dei secoli, cosa che ci permette di osservare caratteristiche che corrispondono ai diversi stili architettonici che si sono succeduti nel tempo: ❄️ Il mastio, la torre abitabile con le doppie finestre ad arco e la cappella del castello risalgono al primo periodo di costruzione avvenuto nel XIII secolo sotto il dominio dei Signori di Taufers; ❄️ Gli ampliamenti gotici risalgono al tempo dei Vescovi di Bressanone, entrati in possesso del castello al momento dell'estinzione della famiglia originale. ❄️ Al 1500 risalgono invece i complicati portoni, i ponti levatoi ed il granaio... ❓ Non è meraviglioso? Taufers Castle or Castello di Tures is a beautiful medieval castle in South Tyrol, Italy. The castle is so attractive and picturesque that several directors chose it as a setting for their films like Roman Polanski who shot The Fearless Vampire Killers here. It was built in the 13th century and belonged to the von Taufers family. Originally a wall built on a high cliff protected inner strictures like a tall watch-tower, a residential house and other auxiliary houses. It was a Romanesque ensemble, which transformed into a well-protected Gothic compound after it was acquired by the von Fieger family in the 15th century. At that time the castle was reinforced with towers, tower gates and drawbridges which are still there today. The castle has 64 rooms out of which about two dozen can be visited on a guided tour. Si lo so non ho pubblicato post durante il viaggio... a dir la verità avrei voluto farlo giorno per giorno ma credetemi che tra arrivare a destinazione, sistemarmi, preparare la roba per il giorno seguente e trovare qualcosa di aperto per cenare che era arrivata l'ora di dormire 😂😂😴😴😅 Quindi proverò a raccontare dopo più di una settimana tutte le emozioni vissute in questa meravigliosa esperienza. Sapevo già che il giorno della partenza avrei preso probabilmente della pioggia e così è stato, si sa che durante questi viaggi tutto è possibile, ero attrezzata ad ogni evenienza. Sono partita che erano quasi le 11 di mattina, tardi devo ammetterlo, non avevo fretta e volevo vivermi ogni singolo momento.
