💫 Book Review 💫 Winning Winnie’s Hand by @authordeborahmhathaway 🏰 Okay, so this might be one of the loveliest stories I’ve read recently. It had a fantastic enemies to lovers arc paired with plenty ‘A Knights Tale’ references and really fun friendships. I loved the banter among the characters and the challenges they set for each other to be better. Winnie and Matthew were ridiculously stubborn and it made for the best spats and discussions. Watching them realize they could accept help and not be a failure was an absolute delight, as was their journey to love. I also have a sudden need to go tour around Yorkshire to learn all its history and customs. It’s definitely a place I could see myself spending lots of time exploring. If you love really good enemies to lovers stories, a nice touch of Medieval festival, and snappy banter, this is certainly a book you’re going to enjoy too. Obľúbená klasika s Heathom Ledgerom mala mať pokračovanie s geniálnym príbehom. ⚔️ Príbeh o rytierovi je historicko-dobrodružná klasika, ktorá okrem skvelého príbehu a obsadenia ponúkla aj vyvážený mix akcie, romantiky i komédie. Režisér filmu Brian Helgeland nedávno pre Inverse odhalil, že v hre bolo aj pokračovanie, ktoré sa malo zamerať na dcéru hlavného hrdinu. To však kvôli algoritmom Netflixu nikdy nevzniklo. Helgeland priblížil, že aj napriek tragickej smrti Heatha Ledgera chcel natočiť Príbeh o rytierovi 2. V hre boli dokonca dva veľké nápady. Podľa prvého malo ísť o pokračovanie zasadené do sveta pirátov, v ktorom záporák z prvého filmu gróf Adhemar (Rufus Sewell) unesie Jocelyn (Shannyn Sossamon) do Konštantínopola. Cestou ich loď napadnú piráti a dvojica sa ocitne v ich zajatí spoločne s ďalšími otrokmi. Jeden z nich mal mať na chrbte vytetovanú mapu k pokladu, kvôli tvrdohlavosti a neposlušnosti ho však piráti radi bičovali. Otroci na lodi sa preto striedali a prijímali trest namiesto neho, aby sa mapa nezničila. S ďalším príbehom prišli herci Paul Bettany a Alan Tudyk, ktorí si zahrali aj v prvom filme. V pokračovaní sa chceli zamerať na Ledgerovu dcéru, ktorá sa chce zúčastniť rytierskeho turnaja. To jej však zákon odopiera, pretože je žena. Vyhľadala by bývalú partiu svojho zosnulého otca, ktorá by jej pomohla s prípravou na rytiersky turnaj. Filmová spoločnosť Sony chcela tento nápad ďalej rozvíjať. Oslovili Netflix, keďže film mal putovať rovno do online priestoru. Algoritmy Netflixu ale vyhodnotili, že podobný film by nebol úspešný.
