Everyone meet "Harvey". It's the name I have been calling him. So Harvey and kiddo is from @blueflowerstitching called "Hedgehog & Hyacinth." It was a joy to stitch. I did not have the called for colors, so I chose from my stash and did most of the stitching of the back of the Hedgehog from the photo rather than from the pattern. It seems the brown cottage garden floss must be really variegated. But I love how he turned out. This will be a present 🎁 to my mother this weekend as a cute little "Mother's Day" gift. Last July I started a project based on a @cliffsidestitches SAL. However, I "lost" it among my huge pile of WIPs and when I found it a few months ago, I noticed part of the fabric had been stained by something yellow (but I never understood how it happened...). Despite trying to clean the fabric as much as I could (I even washed it in the washing machine), that stain never left. And since this SAL is not full coverage, I had no other option than starting it again. So here it is! At least, doing it again made me realize I made a huge mistake before and that time I could correct it. The colour combinations I got from the @peppermint.purple colour companion book volume 1 (even though you cannot really see it yet).
