Kommt dir das bekannt vor ➡️ Du hast dich endlich überwunden, zu etwas nein zu sagen. Du warst mega nervös und hast es trotzdem geschafft! Und gerade als du anfängst stolz auf dich zu sein, geht's los: Die andere Person akzeptiert deine Grenze einfach nicht. 🙅🏼♀️ Sie versucht dich zu bequatschen, du versucht, dich zu erklären. Für jedes Argument, das du anbringst hat dein Gegenüber irgendeinen Grund parat, warum das überhaupt nicht zählt. Und bevor du's überhaupt merkst, hast du dich in ein Ja reinquatschen lassen. Zuerst fragst du dich nur, was zur Hölle da gerade passiert ist und dann bist du einfach nur mega enttäuscht, dass es mal wieder so gelaufen ist. 👉 Zu üben, mehr Grenzen zu setzen ist mit total viel Stress verbunden! Und wenn wir gestresst sind, können wir nicht mehr klar denken. Deswegen schaffen wir's auch nicht standhaft zu bleiben, wenn jemand uns so unter Druck setzt. Deswegen gibt's hier einen sehr simplen Trick, mit dem du auf alles vorbereitet bist, was andere dir an den Kopf schmeißen könnten, um dich von deinem Nein abzubringen. 🌼 Die wichtigste Regel ist: ❌Versuch nicht, dich zu rechtfertigen! Ich weiß, es fühlt sich an, als schuldest du der anderen Person eine Erklärung, aber alles, was es tut, ist, ihr die Möglichkeit zu geben, deine Worte gegen dich zu verwenden und dich in Sachen reinzuquatschen, die du nicht machen willst. Auf etwas keine Lust zu haben, ist schon Grund genug, zu etwas Nein zu sagen! 🌼 Der zweite Tipp ist: Überlege dir ein oder zwei kurze Sätze, die du einfach immer wieder wiederholst, bis dein Gegenüber verstanden hat, dass du wirklich Nein meinst. ("Nein" und "Ich möchte nicht" passen immer) Egal, was die andere Person sagt, um dich zu überzeugen, du fokussierst dich einfach auf deine vorbereitete Antwort. So gerätst du nicht in die Situation, dass du dich in Rechtfertigungen verrennst, die dein Gegenüber entkräften kann. Hier ist ein Beispiel⬇️ ✨: Ich ziehe dieses Wochenende um. Kannst du mir helfen, mein Zeug in die neue Wohnung zu schleppen? 🌸: Nein, tut mir leid, ich kann nicht. ✨: Aber du hast doch nichts vor dieses Wochenende, richtig? Dann hast du doch Zeit! 🌸: Nee, sorry, ich kann nicht.

Does this sound familiar ➡️ You said no to something someone wanted you to do. You were super scared but you did it anyway. You are extremely proud of yourself but then it happens: The other person just doesn't care. 🙅🏼♀️ They try to convince you, you try to explain why you said no. For every single thing you say they have a reason why that doesn't count and before you know it you say yes. At first you don't know what the f*** just happened, then you're just disappointed that you couldn't stop it. 👉 Starting to set more boundaries is super stressful! And when we're stressed we're not able to think clearly. That's why we can't stick to our no when someone else is pressuring us. That's why I have for you a very simple trick that let's you prepare in advance for everything that the other person could say to throw you off. It will make setting boundaries feel like a walk in the park. 🌼 The first rule is: ❌ Don't explain yourself! I know it feels like you have to justify your no but it only gives the other person a chance to twist your words and talk you into it. You not wanting to do something is all the reason you need! 🌼 The second tip is: Think of one or two simple words or phrases beforehand, that you stick to. ("No" and "I don't want to" always works) No matter what the other person throws at you, just focus on your prepared answer. That way you can't get caught up in a cycle of explaining yourself which almost always ends in getting talked into things you don't want to do. Here's an example ⬇️ ✨: I'm moving to a new appartement this weekend. Can you help me move my stuff? 🌸: No, I'm sorry I can't. ✨: But you don't have anything planned this weekend, do you? You have time! 🌸: No, sorry. I can't. ✨: But it's not going to take long, really. 🌸: I know, but I can't.

✨sparkly black mocktail✨ for #mixitupmay24! 🖤 It is damn near impossible to make a colorful greeting card design with black as your main color inspiration so I leaned more black *adjacent* and ended up with this witchy nonalcoholic blood mocktail in gothy purples and oxblood red and a little bit of baby pink and soft green for contrast! This one shoved me WAY out of my comfort zone color-wise but it was really fun to challenge myself to create a design that read “black” without actually being black 😂 I don’t know what you’re supposed to celebrate with a blood mocktail any time outside of October but sometimes you just have to follow where your Apple Pencil takes you.
