I used to use my account here as my diary. I posted about every shift I felt, every insight I learned. Everything that inspired me and felt magical. Some art, poetry, quotes, spiritual teachings, metaphysics, and especially weird & wonderful things about nature that made me appreciate our world. Anyway, I felt more able to be vulnerable & raw. I archived all those posts now. I don't know how to explain it. Like at some point of the awakening journey (probably when I had my "psychotic break" lol), the experience became completely inward. In that I struggle to put into words what I'm feeling, learning, how I am changing, or if I even experience any of that. When i do try to articulate it, ironically it comes out overly logical & contrived. Like what I am writing right now. It's like a work email lol. I have been basically a hermit for 1.5 years now, but also kind of like this since even before COVID. I don't really want to talk to or meet people. I am in a healing cocoon. There are names for this phase, like dark night, the void, etc. I am not sure if that is it, like I said, all attempts to describe what I'm going through seems meaningless lol. Well, this is a long preface just to say, here is a preview of my new deck! 🤣 I'm trying to say, this is the other deck I am working on. It is digital collage art, I have a mind's eye vision and then I use AI to generate the elements I'm envisioning, then photoshop them into collages. I'm thinking to call it the "Weird & Wonderful World Oracle" deck. I struggle to write posts now because it seems the left brain part of me can't explain what I feel in a linear way, but the process of creating art and the card meanings is the right outlet for me now because it comes from intuition wholly. Basically, I am using my old archived posts as inspiration and turning them into cards. Hago un inciso, para mostrar el trabajo intelectual y artístico de otras mujeres en el amplio universo del Tarot. Durante bastantes años fui autodidacta, tanto en mis 30, cuando aprendía a combinar los arcanos menores de una baraja de Fournier, como más tarde, al cumplir 40 e iniciar sin saberlo entonces, lo que sería mi proyecto más ambicioso y largo en el tiempo: TarotChic Design. Con el tiempo, he ido adquiriendo una mayor responsabilidad al versionar el Tarot de Marsella, de la que no tenía una conciencia tan alta al principio. El aspecto estético es importante, conocer el significado de cada arcano también...pero la simbología y sus relaciones con la astrología y hasta con la historia del Tarot merecen un estudio más profundo. 📚 El aprendizaje en la parte de diseño, me ha llevado a ver que lo realizado hace años es mejorable y, que hasta que no veo claro que el conjunto tiene un sentido y una luminosidad , el trabajo continua. Aunque el proyecto esté llevando más tiempo del esperado, lo disfruto a cada paso y al final me pongo a pensar que, por mucho que ansíe ver la baraja completada, puede que en el fondo desee que nunca termine.
