. Aqui vamosl nós! Nas preparações para projetos maiores em andamento, resolvi melhorar meu ambiente de trabalho. Uma mesa de uns 10 anos, bamba, feita de cavaletes desmontáveis, deu lugar a duas mesas novas que se ajustam em diversas bases. Quadrada, em T, em L, em I ou separadas para que eu trabalhe por baixo com o carrinho (parecido com o de mecânico). E em paralelo, estudando um jeito de construir uma escultura com um movimento bastante complicado. Cerca de dois meses pesquisando como fazer e com quais equipamentos. Os primeiros testes já estão saindo, junto com o fluxograma para a programação no arduino. Tudo muda o tempo todo com as novas possibilidades, acho que no final vou ter algo bem diferente, mas como arte é processo, é assim mesmo que eu consigo caminhar. Essa aí é a Joaninha, uma das criaturinhas que nasceram no quintal durante a pandemia e que não saíram mais daqui. Apesar de todo o cuidado, caiu do telhado durante a madrugada, 12 metros, mas felizmente está tudo bem. Nada mais de telhado à noite pra não voar atrás de morcego. Gato não voa. Enquanto espero outros materiais da China, já consegui movimentar um motor com um drive novíssimo, tanto que quase não tem nada na internet. Each grain of sand represents a soul of a loved one in the process of reincarnation. Who would win, KSG or a pile of shit on the sofa? (It was a close game) * Fr tho Shape Up on the Xbox One is really fun. Anything that makes exercise not feel like exercise is awesome imo, and I wish there were more games like this. I regret not playing Shape Up when it had released not just because I'd be more healthy presently but because it deserved more players. The Xbox One Kinect was criminally underused and I can't say I wasn't part of the problem since I didn't play many kinect games (despite owning the device at launch). I feel like it was ahead of its time but was a casualty of the horrific Xbox One launch. * Another example would be Xbox Fitness, a more "professional" workout game where there was less emphasis on mini games and more on actual workouts. Unfortunately Xbox Fitness has completely shutdown and is unplayable now, a massive shame given how successful and beneficial it could have been during the pandemic when we were all stuck at home. * I don't expect Xbox to return to motion games anytime soon, in fact I don't think they have any goal other than to continue to push gamepass and Xbox as a platform. It's quite disappointing given that hardware wise the Kinect was very affordable and superior to the competitors (at the time). Think about how much further along motion and VR games could be had the kinect reached a larger audience. * Anyways, I've purchased quite a few kinect games recently for both 360 and Xbox one. I'll be playing Shape Up for at least another 4 months thanks to the 24 week streak achievement. TRAJETÓRIA Em 2011, eu ainda era uma garota, que tinha feito muitos anos de teatro e dança no colégio e tinha estagiado como motiondesigner na Globo. Eu tinha entrado no mestrado em Artes Visuais na UFRJ e terminado a faculdade em design na PUC. Minha vontade era trabalhar com arte interativa e integrar várias formas de expressão artística com corpo, voz e imagem. Foi aí que a Doris Kosminsky me levou no Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada para conhecer o Luiz Velho. Eu mostrei para ele meu TCC sobre a Tropicália e ele me emprestou uma chave do laboratório VISGRAF para começar a brincar com o recém-lançado e hackeado Kinect. Eu comecei a programar em Processing e fazer pequenos experimentos.
