5 weeks for 4 songs, wow! As a queer artist and a songwriter I’ve had so many amazing experiences working with so many amazing artist as a songwriter helping them to express themselves in their journey! To have 4 releases in 5 weeks as a songwriter and as well a singer in some of the tracks makes me feel so grateful! A lot of our work is done outside of the spotlight and god knows how many songs I’ve written in the past years. This job can sometimes feel lonely and a constant uphill battle so little wins and releases mean so much! I’m specifically happy about release called Lighthouse! In the past year I’ve started to take little baby steps towards vocal production and this is the first song ever released were I wrote the lyrics and melody 100% as well sang and recorded all of it and after words comped and edited the vocals. Still very far from a title ”female producer” but on my way! I’m so grateful to work with so many amazing artists and so proud of you all! xx PALMU PS. Today, we celebrate the extraordinary life and legacy of Frank Stella, who left an indelible mark on the art world. Born on May 12, 1936, in Malden, MA, Stella's innovative use of geometric patterns and shapes redefined abstraction, showing us that "you could tell a story with the shapes." His recent passing on May 4, 2024, in West Village, New York, NY, only serves to remind us of the profound impact he made. After studying history at Princeton University, Stella moved to New York in 1958. His groundbreaking Black Paintings (1958-1960) paved the way for Minimalism, and at 34, he became the youngest artist to have a solo exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art. To honor Stella’s legacy, Castellani Art Museum proudly shares works from our permanent collection: Die Fahne Hoch! "As a Director/DP I have always relied heavily on casting the right people for the project who I can rely upon and trust their own instincts in bringing the roles to life. Since I am the Director and Cinematographer at the same time, I like to cast and rehearse the project extensively before we begin shooting. Piper and Jacob understood the characters and took my suggestions in rehearsals, but also brought so much more than what was in the script.
