Estamos falando de exercícios progressivos, e preferencialmente orientados por profissionais capacitados. O lindedema não é uma sentença! Acomete em torno de 30% das pacientes que realizaram esvaziamento axilar e/ou radioterapia. Esse número cai para aproximadamente 12%, se a mulher fez uma cirurgia mais conservadora, com o método de biópsia do linfonodo sentinela, por exemplo. Quem tem linfedema instalado, precisa tratar com a fisioterapia especializada, por meio da terapia física complexa. E nesse caso, não pode fazer exercício? Pode sim! Inclusive é indicado como parte do tratamento, porém uma contenção compressiva adequadamente realizada, ou norteada pelo fisioterapeuta, é imprescindível!
