Eyeliner - baby wing 🌸 When we did the pre draw we drew lash enhancement. Then played with a wing, we went back and forth with it and ultimately landed on a baby wing. It opened her eye and defined the lashes, best of both worlds! Eyeliner tattoo is completely customizable, the colour and shape and angle of the wing, the thickness, all of it! We ended up doing a dark brown as opposed to black which would compliment her skin tone and eyes so nicely. The sheer volume of people across the world that had the opportunity to witness that aurora display last week is mind-blowing and incredible. For many, it was a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. Like many folks I raced out to set up facing north and was caught in the wrong spot and off guard for the display in the southern skies. Unfortunately, due to my broken arm I couldn’t get as creative as I would have liked or adventurous keeping me away from hiking or scrambling in the alpine. That being said, the display to the north was pretty darn good at times and the ol’ point and shoot scene from sea level in Squamish wasn’t so bad. I was stoked to get this view of the northern lights over Squamish and mount garibaldi. #mostlymountains

After completing The Sasquatch - Canada’s fastest, highest and longest zip wire, never again will I shout at the Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here contestants - “Go on, just jump! You’re safe you chicken - just do it!” 😆 After a long, long way to the starting point which took a gondola ride and a bus journey, I even saw #StressedHusband began to tremble as we stepped onto the platform before ‘take off’. What was it that made me raise my hand when the instructor asked who wants to go first? It wasn’t sheer madness - or bravery. It was the little voice that told me ‘get in and get out fast’ because I knew if I stayed looking down at where I was about to go, I’d have more time to contemplate backing out! So I jumped… What happened next was amazing 🤩 My voice was whipped away by the wind as I tried to scream and whoop, my heart was beating in my ears and my mind felt free and full of joy as I sped over mountains and trees - the most spectacular scenery I’d ever seen (and from a height I’d never been except in a plane). Unforgettable days like yesterday have the power to soften the edges of challenging and difficult days that have come before and remind me that growing older isn’t about taking a step back - it’s about stepping out of your comfort zone, buckling up and jumping into the unknown. So my midlife wonders - if you’ve been wanting to try something different - whether it’s a new job, an activity or just to give your life a little shakeup, remember that your legs might turn to jelly, you might feel silly - you may hate it or - you may actually love it!
