Dent parrachée, Face NW Direct (couloir roche) Après l'avoir parcouru en 2020 en mode alpi avec @bast_flam . Et avec le superbe enneigement cette saison il était temps d'y retourner. Grâce à une photo récente (merci @gaelasin ), nous avons pu parcourir l'itinéraire à vue. Les contres pentes nous ont permis de skier dans de superbes conditions. Malgré tout, les 100 derniers mètres étaient en neige très dure. Le retrait glaciaire nous aura privé de l'intégral à ski... Nous avons équipé le rappel pour la sortie (40m). Fletschhorn, you’ve been in my mind for a while. Mission together with my friend @shaun.rollier 🙌🏻Friday, it was a go for Bivacco de Zen, so we started from Simplon Dorf at 8:30pm, afterwork and after eating on the road. Incredible way up for the bivouac, you really feel small compared to nature. We had a little night of sleep in this beautiful place. Saturday morning, we were game to test the face, but we knew that it would be challenging with the amounts of fresh snow. We still gave it a safe try and completed the face 2/3. We decided it was safer to turn around because of the amounts of new snow (hips deep), layers on ice, warmth and bad weather was coming. Better feel safe than sorry right? For me it was still a success and an incredible adventure 😍 looking forward for next one!

Feeling like I dream of Jeanie with the Jean team. We definitely denimnated bikini ski day with some Jean-ious outfits. We ended our favorite resort’s season with one of the best days we’ve had on the mountain. Love these people ❤️
When @vetmedmck79 and I got to the top of our backcountry skiing "objective" today after two hours of climbing, clouds rolled in and it became zero visibility. While skiing down we couldn't see 5 feet ahead. When we got back to the car, the clouds parted and beautiful sunshine was lighting up the mountain we just skied. Rocks’ appreciation post🗿 Ever since I was a child, I’ve been drawn to rocks. There’s often something mysterious about their shapes, compositions and different colors. Just like a tree, you can feel a certain experience, a certain history, emanating from each rock. But above all, I love using them as launching platforms! Whether I’m catapulting myself into the powder or jumping into the water. Jumping off cliffs is a precious feeling that takes me back to childhood. The age when, in your mind, anything is possible. The age at which you imagine you’re a superhero, a monkey or a bird. This is one of the beauties of skiing: achieving the impossible. Flying 10m in the air like a superhero, catapulting yourself and landing like a cat (well, almost) in clouds of powder, hurtling down steep slopes at racecar speed, running like a deer through dense forest... The mountain becomes our canvas. So far, it’s the closest thing I’ve found to happiness. Thank you Mother Nature💚 All jumps are « classics » of my ski resort. The last video is the biggest cliff I hit in my life, back in 2020. Haven’t done it since.
