And although we may essay to keep watch on a particular bloom somehow that full awakening evades us. There was a man in Cheshire who experimented in orchid novelties, and he once mentioned that he sat up all night on several occasions in his orchid house to see a flower open, in one case it was an orchid that blossomed every seven years. Despite his patience he missed that exact moment.โ Village of Rosemary, J. Brundrett Bickle. ๐ธ I spent yesterday afternoon in the garden, turning over the border, weeding and planting some spring polyanthus, snowdrops for next year, a Xmas tree (a Nordman Fir Iโve grown since a sapling about 4 years ago), and a prickly picea (pot grown) that Iโd had on my Xmas table.
