I decided to give myself some creative license to start exploring and sharing some of my other practical vintage interests. Namely; vintage safety razors. If you're reading this post, then there is very little to explain to you about giving yourself over to the practices of intentionality. You probably came here to read about the role of typewriters on modern creativity. So here's where I make my pitch, where I connect both worlds: the same value that you find in using that typewriter can be found in wet shaving with a safety razor. Think about it, do you enjoy the ritual of "setting the stage" for using your typewriter and engaging in the "me time" that you get when your disconnected from the outside world and fully engrossed in the writing process on your typewriter? Or the tactile stimulation derived from following the journey a thought fired from a neuron in your brain down your arms, through your hands and on into your fingertips where it's then transferred through a series of machinations to arrive in paper and ink right before your eyes?
