Physical labor is a form of therapy. I have been assisting my brother with some household tasks until he himself is well enough. But honestly these two doggies smile when they see me so I can't help but smile back. I also feel good knowing my brother seems to be getting to a better place. I don't have his permission to discuss his life so I won't. I still want the best for him. Being outside doing filling a few holes around the fence the dogs dug felt good. So this morning was rough !!! We started our morning as normal as possible, we got in the car and did our regular school drop offs and then it was time for Sons drop off it was untill i signed him in i could tell somethign was t right . He clinged onto me like a monkey!!! Asked to go back outside for a few minutes so we did as a few minutes went on. I said OK buddy it’s time we go in class all your friends are waiting for you now and the type of squeeze your child gives you win they know you’re going to leave them and they know that they are not ready for that separation is a different type of squeeze or hug that gets to you every time!!! And this morning I felt that hug and he said no mommy don’t leave me I want to go with you and I said nobody we need to finish our day. We need to have a good day at school. No I want to be with you and knowing that I have to leave him there, knowing that I have to keep him on a routine schedule and I have to do what’s best for him sometimes seems like it’s not the best thing because at that moment we’re both hurting!!! Why doesn’t anybody tell us that this is part of the process? Why doesn’t anybody wanna start? This is what comes with our amazingly beautiful special needs children how they can go from so excited having an amazing morning to complete opposite.??? Today has been a full in chill day before the kids go back to school on Monday! We had a manic few hours this morning tidying and cleaning ready for an early afternoon full of house viewings. When bambino’s came back we did a quick home bargains run because is it really the weekend if you don’t go to home bargains 🤣 Then they spent the evening in the garden making a mess cooking with seeds and coconut… 🥥 I try to let them play with items that I don’t think would hurt any animals or creature that venture into the garden. This afternoon we spent an hour outside in the fresh air collecting leaves, flowers and other bits so the kids could make potions and garden food a they were calling it… It’s ok to just go for a walk and do something for free but everything has to cost the earth to do! Jo has mastered all of the silent E's. It has helped her to spell much better! Now onto contractions and "z" sound words. (Z sound words as in "Cars, has, those, waves, is, etc.) She's doing well with contractions but Lord, she doesn't have the attention span to find the "Z" sound words in a sentence! Her focus drives me crazy sometimes!
