Another night at the beach only this trip was in support of #teamnxpt training for an up coming event happening Father’s Day weekend. The kids watched for over 90 minutes of Dan and his team training. I loved watching the kids lunge on their own or try to sneak over to daddy to be by him. But the sweetest part was hearing them cheer him on when it was his turn to go. I will cherish this memory as a time where we came together as a family to support one person in our unit. The days will come when it will be the kids training for their own events and I pray that we set the tone and example of what is looks like to be a unified family. #nxpt #nxptfit #nxptstrong #nxptmade

Finally home, and had a minute to finish a highlight reel of our Tahoe trip! Was waiting on the Ultra-Beast results to post, but they still haven't been updated. This trip was amazing on so many levels... Team building and bonding with each other, soaking up the mountains and how beautiful Tahoe is... And of course conquering and overcoming the 30 mile course! Our ladies Lucinda Ellene Block Gutierrez and Jenna took on the beast course on Saturday and did amazing! Sunday, My personal goal was sub 9 hours... I hit the half way mark at 3 hours 43 min, and finished the race in 8:16 It started to snow and conditions got bad enough they turned racers back to stop the race around 5pm, so half of our crew were unable to complete the full course. We can only hope @spartanrace will honor their commitment and give these warriors free entries to the next opportunity to get that #UltraBeast medal! When the results come in for the open, we are most certain 3 of us came in top 5, but either way- through the strength of our team, and strength through the lord, we were able to complete what we set out to do. Proud to have gone to battle with my brothers Hannibal Smith, Daniel Zanoni, Bao Nguyen, Zach Voth and Jake!
