🩶 GT Arette 700c 🩶 Maiden Voyage for the GT Arette! This was a small whole in my bike collection, and it is perfect. 700c with loads of clearance. I’m currently rocking 700x43c @panaracer_world GravelKing SK+ and they are amazing. Fast rolling with lots of rubber! I averaged 13.7mph for the first 13 miles on this bike! I’m going to add a front rack for some small cargo capacity. The frame has eyelets on the fork and 3 bottle cage mounts! Started a new project based around a Giant Boulder frame. Steel, 26" wheels - just how we like it. The derailleur is just on there as a chain tensioner atm, but this will be geared. I can't fit a shifter onto the bars in addition to the grips and brake levers, so I have come up with an ingenious (read: barely functional and terribly unergonomic) alternative, which I've not got to work 100% yet because the current chain is too short. GT Karakoram 1994 Another rebuild that started as a frame only. I added a spare black GT fork, cut the threaded crown and put on an adapter for the BMX stem-Motobar-combo (I thinks they came from some Yamaha Enduro bike). Of course, the original GT saddle was a keeper. Snappy XT/Avid V-Brakes combo which made running the cable housing along the frame a bit tricky. LX cranks + hubs with 9 gears for pedalling home your groceries effortlessly in that Blackburn local basket. 💜 Specialized RockHopper 💜 New Bike Day for Julia! Coming in from Redlands, Julia was looking to restore her old RockHopper. It was in great condition, but all original. BB was shot, original tires, cables and housing. It needed some love. We went with the 1x11 drivetrain, V-Brakes, a new shorter stem and some purple bits to tie it all together.
