He was gifted this bike, which had been sitting unused for some time. He reached out to me to have it tuned up and get it ready to ride. Shimano Ultegra all around, it’s a clean bike, so we went with a tune up, new tires and a simplified drivetrain. The front shifter has been busted for years, so instead of replacing it, we went with a 1x chainring and removed the front derailleur for simplicity and it was also the most cost effective option. 🩶 GT Arette 700c 🩶 Maiden Voyage for the GT Arette! This was a small whole in my bike collection, and it is perfect. 700c with loads of clearance. I’m currently rocking 700x43c @panaracer_world GravelKing SK+ and they are amazing. Fast rolling with lots of rubber! I averaged 13.7mph for the first 13 miles on this bike! I’m going to add a front rack for some small cargo capacity. The frame has eyelets on the fork and 3 bottle cage mounts!
