The Longing of the Oracle sculptural jewellery originates from my installation, Lingering Longing. Its starting point was Pythia’s last oracle in Delphi, Greece. The prophetesses’ last oracle, delivered in 394 BC right before all temples were forced to close, evoked a deep longing in me: “[...] there is no talking stream, the stream is dry and had so much to say.” The metaphor of the dry stream that lost its voice made me want to investigate what this stream is, how to make it flow again, and get in touch with our inner oracles. Possessing the ability of vision & prophecy can be daunting, especially in the times we are currently in. There are big timeline shifts happening & many are even splitting. I have never witnessed both in vision& in body the divides that we are experiencing, even as a collective. I have always led my life based upon the visions and messages I receive, sometimes those messages are given, other times they may change as our frequencies changes. This is usually where discernment comes in, knowing when to give the message, when to wait (to see if it changes) or knowing if something or someone could be interfering with the channel. Recently I’ve had intense visions and dreams, there’s a lot of planetary movements as we know now, but these messages are getting stronger by the day. I find myself these past weeks wondering if it should be told, as each day passes, the intensity rises. I have always received vision, this is nothing new to me, the scale that I now receive is no longer just for me to navigate my life. It’s bigger than that, it’s a global scale, which is extremely daunting as I receive for a much larger collective, all of which are in different stages of awakening. The past couple of months I have been experiencing some of the deepest psychic attacks, stranger than strange in person encounters and even multiple smashed watermelons on my door step. These are the reasons for withholding not only the messages I have received but also the information and channels of many years of work. Our Lady through the art of Manuel Nunez While not actual images of Mary, this incredible artist has long used our lady and other divine and powerful women as his various muses. His paintings depict fierce but gentle holy women, often clad in armor and almost always barefoot, with large, sturdy feet firmly secured upon rocks and solid ground. His images conjure thoughts of the many female prophets, sibyls, oracles and martyrs throughout the history of our human race. Mary, Mary Magdalene, Pythia, Delphi, Joan of Arc… Who else do you see in these images?
