We’re joining into the “5 Dollar Friday” thing to jumpstart our fundraising for Luna’s surgery. We need your help! Her surgeries will be spendy. Luna will turn one year old the end of July and will be having surgery to repair the cleft palate and whatever else the surgeons think they can do to help her. Maybe teeth extractions, maybe something else with her nose and jaw? She’ll first have a CT scan close to the surgery date to assess and plan the procedure. She still needs to be spayed but they don’t think they can do it all at once. Lots ahead still for this “little” 53 pound puppy! We are so hoping the cleft palate surgery will lessen the constant nasal infections. She does great cuz she’s used to being a snotty mess, but it would sure be nice to see her breathe easier. Happy 1 year anniversary to us 3! ❤️ probably until the moment we were driving home from the shelter with Atlas a year ago, we couldn't believe that it's happening. We adopted him sooner than we initially planned, but it was just meant to be. The connection we felt when we met for the first time is hard to describe with words, it was an immerse feeling of togetherness. His calmness, gentleness and especially how he approached us, already considering us as family, stole our hearts immediately. And he keeps doing that 🫠 beautiful memories made so far and that's only the beginning!
