You may have met Fanny outside Trieste selling her art & other treasures. Fanny always has great stories and creates unique pieces of art. She has been a major part of the North Beach art scene for over 30 years. She has produced many music & art events. Roy would be spotted walking around daily in suits and ties that he collected from the neighborhood thrift shops & goodwill. He was always very proud of the way he dressed. Roy passed away in 2016 but has definitely left his mark with the North Beach community. Although they didn’t always see eye to eye, they definitely understood each other. Both Fanny & Roy started coming to Caffe Trieste almost 40 years ago . They are definitely part of what makes Caffe Trieste & North beach so special. Paul Brocco has been part of the Caffè Trieste family for more than 40 years. His coffee roasting training began at a very young age. Till this day every single Caffè Trieste bean is roasted by Paul. He is dubbed the “Roastmaster” Paul grew up in North Beach and has been part of our family for decades.
