Not only was this cupcake DELICIOUS, but it’s only $5.79! The downside is that Gaston’s Tavern closes so early! We’ve been trying to go for the past year, but every time we would remember to go get it it would already be closed for the day, so this trip I said we made it our mission to try it! A little update from me. Thank you so much to everyone who has sent me a message or thought about me the last few weeks, I won’t lie the road to recovery isn’t easy but I’m getting there. Honestly, I’m surprising myself (and the nurses) at how well I’m coping after just 3 weeks. I’ve even been able to get out a few times to the supermarket, albeit in a wheelchair but still! I’m starting to get really bored so I must be feeling better 🙈. Still waiting on the results from the microscope about what the next step is, but for now me and my little bag are adjusting to a new normal and getting to know each other. It's #TASTYtuesday and I have a TREAT I really want to talk about. The fambam and I were fortunate enough to have a DISNEY VACAY (would you believe, it's was the 1st for the #JuniorFOODIES and me 😁). So I was able to experience everything for the very first time along with them and it was ✨ M A G I C A L ✨. While the boys were looking forward to the rides I was looking forward to the food/treats. . Thanks to all the friends who gave me tips and recommendations on where and what to eat! . We definitely ate our way through Disneyland for sure (and I'll share all of the fun in later post) But I want to take today to highlight probably my favorite Disney treat. What could it be?🤔 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁 🎉🎉🧁 It's the GREY STUFF 🧁🎉🎉 . It really IS DELICIOUS! 😋😋 . So it's official name is Grey Stuff Gâteau. It's a sugar cookie topped with white chocolate cookies and cream mousse with red velvet Cake and a raspberry center topped with chocolate sprinkles or sixlets (is that what they are called? 🤷🏾♀️) and chocolate cake bits. . Overall this treat is on the sweeter side, but it's a must-try! The raspberry was a nice refreshing surprise. It's tartness cut through all the sweetness and the different textures were delightful. One of my favorite treats in Magic Kingdom is Gastons cinnamon rolls! I also love their “grey stuff” cupcake. Yep- I get both and usually eat both 🤣. I highly recommend getting here early- like park opening. Especially in the summertime- the line in the FL sun can be brutal! I think these rolls are a hit and miss with some. They are more of a cinnamon bread than an actual thicker cinnamon roll. Tip- order extra icing!!! Snack review!!! 🧁 Recently I got to try the Grey Stuff Cupcake from Gaston's Tavern! It's $5.49 and it's a chocolate cupcake topped with the Grey Stuff, which is a cookies and cream mousse. 😋 I don't eat Disney cupcakes often, but this was definitely a good one! The cake was moist and the Grey Stuff was the perfect pairing for the top. It was sweet but not too sweet, and my only complaint is that I wish it were a little bigger. 😁 The great thing about this cupcake is that it's the only other way to try the Grey Stuff outside of Be Our Guest Restaurant.
