Last night, we had dessert at @artisandesglace in the France Pavilion at EPCOT. I had blueberry yogurt ice cream and my husband had mango sorbet. My ice cream was scooped from a fresh container in the back. I usually order their chocolate or seasonal macaron ice cream sandwich, but I was in the mood to try something different. Their seasonal macaron ice cream sandwich is raspberry right now. All of their ice cream flavors are GF except the cinnamon caramelized apple crumble crunch.

🌊In yesterday's livestream, when Marty M @marty_m61 said that I might get wet at the Journey of Water Inspired by Moana, Cast Member Preview that Chef James @james_nathan_harper invited me to attend with his group- he was right! Unfortunately, it was water from the sky and not from the preview, since it was down all afternoon and evening! So, we didn't get to enter it! Instead, James introduced me to the Croque Glacé at L'Artisan des Glaces in the France Pavilion- which was incredible- and a meal in itself! (you select your ice cream flavor and sauce and it's on a homemade brioche that is pressed warm) It was the first time I had eaten there! Then we visited Japan! In the last slide, it looks like Journey of Water will be extra beautiful to walk through at night! Thank you for inviting me to your preview James!! ✨Day 6✨ Epcot! This is always one of our favorite days but it’s currently a giant construction zone 🙈 and the interim firework show is…lacking 🤪 My #1 recommendation would be hold off on this one for a few more months while she gets her life back together 🤣 Other than that, major highlights included #akershusroyalbanquethall back open for a lovely family-style breakfast with all the princesses 👸 which is conveniently right next to frozen ever after (🫶) and the Elsa and Anna meet & greet which is all the perfect way to start your day, imo 🥰 We scored a GOTG Virtual Queue but it sadly went down right before our group was called and never went back up that day 😞 Total bum and an excellent reason to never make ride promises to your kiddos! Thankfully, Test Track is also at the top of our list and we got to ride for the first time as a family 🥰 Also for the first time altogether was Soarin’ which I thought Lark would LOVE but she was lukewarm about (can’t win ‘em all, right?!) We tried #lartisandesglaces for the first time and it was 💯 even in a total downpour - conveniently located next to a champagne tasting 🥂 We all LOVED finding the hidden Remy’s and enjoyed quite a bit of drinks and fromage around the 🌎 then ended our day with some giant cheese pizza and fireworks 💥✨ #disneyworld #epcot #disneytravelagent #disneytravelplanner

L’Artisan des Glaces, located in the France pavilion in Epcot, is a pretty scrumptious place. I love how they shape their frozen treats into Mickey shapes and their macaron ice cream sandwiches are amazing (pictured). My daughters favorite is a simple vanilla ice cream coated in caramel (also pictured) and my husbands favorite is the Croque Glacé, unfortunately not pictured because he devours it far too quickly 😂 There are several pictures online if you just google it, but it’s a sweet brioche bun, filled with your choice of ice cream and then drizzled with your choice of either raspberry, chocolate or caramel sauce. The cast members then place the roll into what looks similar to a waffle iron and it smooshes the Croque Glacé together, warming the bread but leaving the ice cream in the center still cold and creamy.
